I noticed it in the club shop the other week.

The badge is blue but I thought it was red on the original?

Hopefully the introduction of this shirt to the range means the club are priming us for a return to red next year... :whistle:

sorry, i could never wear a red top. too forest for my liking.

Of course, everyone that see's you in red shirt with a leicester badge on will think you're a Forest fan.

I'm not getting one now either.

But to be fair, Leicester aren't known for wearing red our we ? So if someone did spot you wearing and couldn't see the badge. Their not going to think ahhh nice Leicester shirt.

White is our away kit, should be Blue Home and White Away.

After white, red has been the most used away colour throughout our history.

I personally think we should rotate between, red, white and black with sky blue sash.

Leicester have had 9 red kits, 9 white, 9 yellow and about 3 black.

It's the exact same retro shirt that has been on display for ages - just in red this time.

I had a look at it in the club shop and it looks somewhat tacky, cheap and then the fabric... Eurgh.

Don't do it and wait for a proper retro shirt.

yeah it feels like the rugby tops i used to have to wear at high school

not nice, but worth it just because its red!

I guess you could never wear the old white away shirts either, what with that being the colour of both Derby and Dirty Leeds. I bet you can't ever wear an England shirt, not unless it's the old light blue one from the 90's. Oh, hang on, that's Cov's colours! :doh:

I bought that when i visited in 94, was still wearing it last year..im sure its in the wardrobe somewhere :)

This is my theory, they may be testing the reaction of the fans to the retro shirt and taking it from there. Or is that too logical for LCFC? :dunno:

As for those who argue that red is a 'Forest colour', look at Forest themselves. They've had white and blue away shirts without a murmur of protest that those are Derby or Leicester colours.

Man United have had white away shirts too, despite this being the colour of their beloved rivals on the other side of the Pennines.

It's the badge that's important and red away shirts were once as commonplace as yellow shirts have been these past 15 years. The return of a red away shirt would be a welcome nod to our heritage and I'd certainly buy one.

I reckon we should start a petition to bring back the Admiral Ind Coope Shirt, a v popular choice...

The club/scroedraw seem to have some kind of deal with Admiral as a couple of the retros have the admiral logos one, plus the jacket. So, why not remake that shirt....? It's sell loads.

I am lucky enough to own a player issued shirt via ebay. The green/yellow one with number 6 on the back! Mint.

I have the one from 1990. I bought XL, and believed it to be a perfect fit at the time. :doh:
