Players not paid due to "Clerical Error" hmmmm, yes okay then, I think this takeover is going to go horribly wrong and pompy will be liquidated before they are relegated.

You Decide.

Oh and even scott mills just called them shit.

Obviousley, you are at work and you should get paid, but the Portsmouth players arn't getting paid and they are moaning - jees, I'd love to be what there on. However, I wouldn't like it if Sainsburys didn't pay me for whatever reason.

Not nice to see this happen to any club (admin and liquidation I mean).

Exactly what I was thinking, most of those players would survive for a couple of months quite happily. I bet you there academy players are not moaning.

They must be then

Well thats what I meant lol, even mr knows nothing about football said it :P Obviously i was being sarcastic.

No one is moaning are they? And in any case it doesn't matter what wage you are on, if you don't get paid you have a right to complain!

Oh, and you can't spell Pompey.

Where is anyone moaning?

They didn't get paid, someone told them they would get paid tomorrow, Hreidersson (the Player's Union rep) said that's all fine and, I quote, "everyone's a winner".

Innit.

People appear to be completely fabricating stuff. How weird.

Sorry its my mistake, I read on the Portsmouth forum that the new players were moaning to there parent clubs and home newspapers.

You can delete this if you want.

I still think somethings up at portsmouth though, with the takeover and everything.

I know it's not related to this issue, but didn't Mandaric once refuse to pay the Portsmouth players?

I don't think that's related to this issue.

So how does that work?! A football league club ****s up finacially and they get a 10 point deduction, a premiership club ****s up and the premier league runs in to stop them going into administration. If we ever get promoted, we should just take out a hench bank loan and spend millions tryna break the top 4. If it doesn't work out, the premier league have got out back anyway.

In that argument it is the 10 point penalty approach which makes no sense. Personally I could not give a stuff if banks and private investors who put their money into a football clubs hoping for a fat profit lose it, but I care a lot if the fans are made to suffer relegation or god forbid the liquidation of their club becuase of mismanagement which is completely out of their control.

I think the Premier league effectively taking over a football club and then selling it to the most appropriate buyer would be a far better result that the seller flogging to the highest bidder who then turns out to be skint, resulting in the demise of the club.

They just need to make sure they aren't too far adrift when it comes to January and they can spend their money.

This is a must. Even with all there money they will still find it hard to attract players of a high calibre due to there position unless it improves dramatically.

Would like them to stay up and it's not impossible given the standard of the bottom half of the prem, but I think their horrible start may just be too much to save them.
