Is DJ Campbell worth a start/consistent run in the team?

Yes. I haven't been his biggest fan, but he has never been given a consistent run in the team to prove himself, I'd like to see him to see him as a sub at least for a few games.

Just nice to have competition up front again and all the strikers look good.

Competition has been a huge lacking point at this club in the last few years and NP has brought competition between the players

No. For me you can't take Fryatt, and that leaves the other position which for me has to be Howard as Kermorgant didnt do much vs Boro and Cov. Maybe Kermorgant needs time with Fryatt but I still think Howard is key and showed it when he came on vs Cov.

I think DJ could be good but surely he cant get ahead of Fryatt, Howard, Kermo, Waghorn and of course Gallagher if he gets moved up front.

But credit to DJ he looked up for it vs Cov and it is always good to have another option.

Even given the effort he put in on Saturday, Fryatt is still worth a place with the goals he has scored already, and Howard looks the perfect foil for him with Kermo a close second. Waghorn also looks good most of the time he plays and Cov just couldn't live with him so he has a strong shout if any of those players are injured or playing poorly. Best advice would be to wait until Christmas when Waghorn goes back to Sunderland (if his loan isn't extended of course) and see how Fryatt et al are playing then.

Fryatt's been scoring for fun, Kermos looked bright and Waghorn changed the game for us against Swansea and Coventry.

Howard hasn't scored though, and i think Kermo is a better all round player than him.

So as for Dj, i would love to see Pearson putting 3 strikers on the bench every game and Dj been one of them.

If there is an injury to Fryatt, then Waghorn would get my vote to replace him.

If they both get injured, then Dj would have to start with Howard or Kermo.

So as for the poll vote, he's well worth a consistent run on the bench for now and hopefully will take his opportunities, so i will vote yes.

And as for Gallagher, unless he's played upfront i would like him to get lost out the team.

If he wants to play for the team then yes and he could be a great asset as his pace offers something different to the mix.

I think it's a bit premature though to be discussing wether or not he warrants a starting place after 1 sub appearance.

For all we know NP may just be playing him to interest a few parties.

I think Howard and Kermo are in a different category to the others, and one of them really needs to start every game, because we aren't a passing along the floor side really are we at the moment.

Then theres Fryatt, Waghorn and Dj in that order.

He deserves his chance like everyone else in the squad.....he should have a big point to prove so I would give him a few games to find his best form...maybe not a starting place, but definately on the bench.

Maybe give him a few chances on the bench then if he does any good i'd say he should be a consistent member of the team. He showed his capabilities in the championship while at Blackpool last season and I think that at least shows he deserves a chance to prove himself with Leicester.

Very harsh to say he's "getting in the way".

I was harping on all summer hoping that we'd sign him and I'm still glad we have, it's just frustrating that Pearson continually plays him out of position. You can see the bloke has quality on the ball, anyone denying that is watching a different player to me. I really feel sorry for Gallagher, I bet he wouldn't have agreed to sign for us if he knew that Pearson was going to play him on the wing.

Why does it? Because they don't agree with you?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion mate, just like you have yours. I didn't like what he said and how he's acted, but if he's willing to show he's going to work hard, put some effort in and act like he wants to be here, then with decent run of pitch time and improved match fitness, I think he could a do a job.

He did it for Birmingham and he did it for Blackpool last season, so given the chance with full fitness, (Something he's never had whilst he's been here) I'd like to think he's worth a shot. As already stated, he's nowhere near the first 11 just yet.
