We were mediocre, but I didn't expect a flowing, one-touch performance. We ground out a win against a struggling side and that's the most important thing.

They should've scored, probably three at least, but they didn't, and we put one in which was enough.

No need to worry about Friday just yet. Football's a funny old game and all that. We may raise our game against QPR or equally QPR could have seen us tonight and get complacent so you never know what'll happen.

I haven't seen the game after giving up on the streams but it's a great result and shows that we are a solid team in this league, even if we did get lucky tonight.

Should have been mullered, but Reading can't defend or finish. 5th in the league and playing total shit. Hard to know what to say.

Exactly.

swings and roundabouts.

we have been on the other side of games like this- where we have been the better team and lost.

Thats football - im just delighted that we have had the rub of the green for once...

How that game ended 1-0 I will never know. You can see why Reading are so far down the table. They couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo and while we did not play very well could of and should of had more than one goal to show.

I usually moan about Neilson but didn't think he was that bad tonight. Certainly kept McAnuff quiet when he switched sides in the second half. All in all a hard fought win when we didn't play very well.

It was a dreadful, horrible, scrappy game but I honestly couldn't give a shit right now. Brilliant win for us, despite being pretty much raped all game. Reading were shocking in front of goal, I'd be livid if I supported them.

Off to get battered now thanks to Martyn Waghorn, adios x

Only seen the second half, but on the basis of what I heard, we were lucky to win. Second half I thought we were ok, pretty professional and could have added to the lead. Thought Wellens was good, Waghorn was lively (shouldn't have been taken off imo), Brown was dominant and I thought Neilson was much improved.

McGivern was beaten for pace by McAnuff and Kebe time and time again. King was very quiet, Oakley hit and miss and Fryatt should have scored, albeit good saves from the keeper.

If we give QPR those chances they will batter us, but thats another game. Being 5th is brilliant, we have to win against teams like Reading and we have, despite the performance.

Not quite sure why people are bad mouthing McGivern, i thought his distribution at times was excellent.

Saying that Berner is one of my favourite players.

Would prefer Berner to McGivern, so hopefully Bruno will be back for Friday. Neilson looked okay tonight.

And Howard held the ball up well, better from Steve.

Better imo then Neilson. First half he most have lost possession 10 times.

It wasn't that bad and a win is a win is a win, especially away and winning when you're not at your best is exactly what you need to do to get up the table.

Criticisms of the full backs is harsh IMO, I thought they both had OK (not great) games, King was a little anonymous but didn't do anything particularly wrong. Howard was very strong when he came on, Weale did everything right, Oakley was solid and did his best to ensure we held on to the ball when under pressure and Gallagher had some lovely touches.

We're far too negative as a bunch of fans. I'm just very happy with the three points and very aware that in the past these were the types of games where we capitulated. Credit where it is due.

I think that you could perhaps say that of every Leicester player tonight.

McGivern was quality. Ran his bollocks off and did very well overall.

Anyway, would you lot rather we play quality football and lose? 3 points is what it's about, and surely it says something about us being able to win when playing badly.

Just wait 'til we start playing well

Steve nearly scored!
