QPR Post-match bring and buy sale

Best I have seen Leicester play in years. Totally outplayed the form team in the division away from home. Never thought that QPR looked like winning at any point tbh. Plus Fryatt was immense. One of the best players in the division when he wants to be. Best player on the pitch by a mile and QPR's defense will be having nightmares before their trip to the Walkers.

N'Guessan gave us that bit of speed and power that we lacked on the wing. I never felt panicked when he was on the ball, as with Neilson.

Superb, simply superb.

King, Wellens, Waghorn, Fryatt, Hobbs, Brown, Berner and Weale were a different class tonight.

Very enjoyable match and a great start to the weekend :scarf:

Absouletly Amazing

Best football we've played for ages. We made QPR look mediocre and average.

10 out of 10 for all the lads.

Maddog is wankered. Love it.

Know what, i always thought he was like 13-15 years old. Reading his post and i was thinking "This kid is a bit young to be plastered eh?" lol

Thats weale, brown, hobbs, oakley, waghorn and fryatt in with a shot at the next england squad then.

Brown would easily take Ferdinands place on current form.

I had my doubts about him when he signed but his sheer determination and 'hard bastardness' makes up for his lack of pace.

fook it, shall I just go up town tonight and drink even more... try to get on the same level as maddog.

For so long I've wondered why we've played so much of our football in second gear but, at long last, we hit full throttle and left a very good side in our wake and surely thrilled every City fan privileged to watch.

Fryatt took his two matchwinning goals with panache - and that first one was another for the highlights of the season video

- but what pleased me so much was that we matched them for first time passing in the opening 45 minutes and finally played them to a virtual standstill by the end.

Cos, make no mistake, QPR were frustrated and devoid of ideas by the final whistle because, not only did we scrap for every ball but we hit them hard and fast on the counter.

Emotionally I'd be inclined to give every team member a full 10 marks because this was the best 90 minutes I've seen from us in many a day considering the standard of QPR. But I'll try to be objective in the player ratings.

And Pearson can take a deep bow because he came close to delivering a tactical masterclass by not only countering strengths but finding weaknesses and using the players to exploit them.

How refreshing it was to see us use some real pace from the off and how unfortunate that the efforvescent Waghorn was denied a splendid opening goal by such a hairline decision.

But for the first time he was able to demonstrate the considerable attributes he's brought to our team - not least the Cottee-like willingness to try to drive himself to get on the end of things in the six yard box and how close he was to putting the ball in the net for a second time in a manner so similar to his first.

In midfield Wellens, King and Oakley demonstrated they could stand against the best in second tier football and I hope King silenced the doubters who declared he was "a division too high" and "couldn't hack in at so elevated a level once and for all.

Everyone was put to the test tonight and the final count for City was a team full of competitors and a team full of winners - but winners who showed they could play a bit.

We didn't foul, we didn't cheat, we didn't niggle on the side and we didn't waste time other than forgiveably right near the end. Instead we stood tall and more than matched arguably the most talented attacking team outside the Premiership skill for skill.

I loved every minute.

TBH ferdinand is only in the squad at the moment because he's a big name and plays for manure, not because he's a good defender.
