Doncaster away

Donny fan here. Looking forward to this game. So how many have you sold to date? Any guesses how many you'll end up bringing?

If you're thinking of going to the 'Moat on the train you can get a bus near the train station, turn left, which will take you straight there in about 10 minutes for about a quid.

They will be full of home fans but we're a friendly bunch so don't worry about it. Otherwise walking will take you 20 odd minutes.

Also looking forward to welcoming back Wellens. You got a cracking player there. How's he been doing?

Was speaking to Jim at the ticket office and he mentioned this, basically saying that if you dont get them in the post then we might have to pay again even though LCFC have a record of our purchase, which is unusual but is Doncaster's stance on it.

Got mine today, Row D and have to stay they look like they've been duplicated by photocopier! Hoping we now take 3 points off the yorkshire puddings.

I ordered my last tuesday and they've still not arrived. Hoping they come tomorrow in the post. :fc:

Thanks for the info.

Wellens has been a bit hit-and-miss for the past month, but when he's on his game he is indeed a cracking player who is capable of bossing the midfield.

Should be a good away day, so long as it isn't abandoned like sodding Cardiff.

Fear this will be off aswell. Won't set off until I hear any potential pitch inspection outcome, reckon I can have it in less than 2 hours.

Oh and Donny fan - Wellens has been in my opinion our best player this season. Cracking signing and he's been involved in a very diorganised midfield with all players seeming to be playing on the wings except wingers. There will be around 2,000 of us there, very rare we take less than that to a 3pm away, although very rare we have a 3pm away!

If this is called off then I will be fuming. I don't get the chance to make many games and this is quite near my parent's house, who I happen to be visiting for Christmas. After the whole debacle that was Cardiff away (arriving at Cardiff Central as they announced the game was off after getting on the train at 6:40am) I will not be a happy chappy.

Do we get the offer of a refund if this gets called off? Like many I wouldn't be able to make a midweek match I don't want to lose the cash (on top of the cost of advance train tickets).

Sorry if this is a bit of a bone question but I thought I'd ask here before I rang the ticket office.

As long as the match hasn't started,i'm pretty sure the tickets will be valid for the rearranged fixture or you get a refund.Hope so anyway as i bought Cardiff and Donny tickets.Think we got a partial refund on the Burnley game on new years day a few seasons ago too that started but was abandoned. That was a great new years day

Surely if the club hasn't got USH, then they AT LEAST have provisions to cope and tackle frost and snow and extreme cold weather.

Cardiff weren't ready for that kind of weather, Doncaster should.

We don't have USH. Latest news is that we have put covers out on the pitch, although a small section is not covered for some reason. There's been a fair bit of snow in Donny and the uncovered part of the pitch was like concrete. Cross your fingers for a few mild days over Christmas.

If you want to keep up to date with this, drop by one of our forums:

I imagine nearer the time you'll be able to keep up with how it's panning out, and if you're worried about it being called off, I imagine you would hear about it here first.

Incidentally, I believe your maximum allocation is around 3250. Now if you've only got 150 left out of a full allocation that's pretty good going. If thats the case we could be looking at about a 13-14k crowd.

Not a big deal to you lot I guess, but our biggest of the season to date.

Ours cames yesterday, but they took longer than usual to arrive.

Fear this one may get called off but, its ok for us, we only live round the corner so a Tuesday night game would be fine. Prefer 28/12 though and hopefully the Keepmoat will be ok by then.

Jim has just informed me that there are 300 tickets left so no massive panic just yet. I also fear it will be called off, we are going to be busy on Tuesday nights in the next couple of months!
