I have nothing against Peterborough, but it may grow in years to come if we are in the same division. I hate Derby. Others arn't local. Why Leeds? Because everyone else hates them?

However Forest are traditionally the main rivals of Leicester. Fans suggest that Leicester have a choice of rivals out of the 3 local largest populated cities in Coventry, Derby & Nottingham, and that you dislike the club who is nearest to where you live however I am from South Leicestershire & dislike Forest most, Derby then if at all Cov, who are not really anything to bother about to me to be honest! The last 2 times I have been to Forest the Clarke incident then when we won 3 vs 2 (epic) really did not give me the best opinion of Forest fans, having met Derby fans they all seem to be quite slow and harmless and live in places like Chaddesden which sounds an awful place where people are all called Chad .

Matt Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 Its all about location IMO, I dislike as some of you may have gathered Covscum alot, but I can't honestly say I have that much problem with Derby and Forest, I have a rivalry with them and have worked with people who support both clubs if it wasn't for work with Derby and Forest fans I probably wouldn't have a problem with those clubs at all. I hate Chelsea because of their fans really and the fact their fans only support the club due to their success. But as I live in Nuneaton it's got to be Covscum, They are an awful team/club with no fans - I genuinely would say there are more Leicester fans living in Nuneaton than Covscum fans.

Shrenchel Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 I don't get why Chelsea have been listed. History. In the late 70s, early 80s there were a couple of big incidents. Leicester took the piss at Chelsea so a year later Chelsea tried to do the kop when they came to Filbert Street. It's where the 'Hark now hear the leicester sing, the chelsea ran away, and will will fight forever more because of boxing day' chant comes from. I've met older lads that hate Chelsea far far more than any of our Midlands rivals. Pretty much forgotten by the younger generations though, shown by the right bumming they get on here. or Leeds. Agreed. Cringeworthy.
Matt Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 I'm not sure if they are linked but I would guess that are - If people hate Stoke for sending us down, They did us a favour (Besides we sent ourselves down) (Fair enough maybe you hate them for the way their fans celebrated - I'm sure many of us would have in their situation though)
