sam_lcfc Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 I have just seen that Jimmy Bullard made a comeback for Hull Reserves...and SSN have just showed his goal (an awesome Le Tissier style free-kick/volley). So happy for the lad, as a genuine football fan, I love the guy - he deserves to have a strong finish to the season. Leicester's win tonight coupled with this news has pretty much made my night. Who knows....maybe he could even sneak his way into Capello's thoughts!!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Make that Pearson's thoughts, and an injury free season next season, and I'd be happy!

Personally think it's a bit cringeworthy the way everyone paints their boxers about him just because he's got more of a sense of humour than most the other lifeless cvnts playing football nowadays. But did you see it when he made them funny faces for the camera?!??!What a joker!!!

purpleronnie Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 What did you want from him? a stand up routine?
Simi Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Top bloke but sadly will never do anything in football apart from get injured.

He is quite a funny chap but that's only because every other player are as dry as Ghandi's flip flop.
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Hull reveal that Bullard's loan move to Ipswich has saved them more than £300'000. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/9384583.stm I keep thinking to myself - what twat actually made the decision to pay Jimmy that much money for his contract in the first place? His salary's said to be one fifth of Hull's total budget (also mentioned in the article)! 20% of your total budget for one single player!!! Bullard's a great comedian, but totally overrated as a footballer.
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 He scored last night for Ipswich It was against Derby, so he is forgiven (for once).
Nick Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 I wonder what Nigel thinks of Jimmy now....... I also wonder what he's done: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14251248.stm Anything to suspend payment on 50K a week?
One Arm Babba Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Breach of club discipline. He probably coughed when Pearson was talking or something.
funkyrobot Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Hull are desperate to get rid. They better have a watertight case or mad jimmy will get them on a constructive dismissal!
MPH Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Hull are desperate to get rid. They better have a watertight case or mad jimmy will get them on a constructive dismissal! i wonder if they will get caught out ala Leicester Dennis Wise situation. You can not under FA law punish someone twice for the same offence... they have suspended him but they need to make sure they do not fine him aswell because if they do then he will pocket an awful lot of dough.... EDIT if they end up sacking him that was supposed to say.. Having said all that.... this is just the sort of Player Sven would go for.....
VinceNoir Posted 25 July 2011 Posted 25 July 2011 I read in a Danish newspaper that he was out all night and took a taxi to training the next morning while he was still pissed!! Don't know if it's true, but pretty funny!

sdb Posted 30 July 2011 Posted 30 July 2011 Surprised no one seems to be in or him. Wages I guess. He did alright at Ipswich right?
