A POLISH billionaire wants to buy Leicester City

I personally wouldn't write this off reading between the lines. All that has been said is that there has not been any official approach as of yet. This does not mean to say that a bid is not being tabled in Poland, merely that they have yet to make an official offer. It's very easy to write off a Sun story but it was the tabloid media who originally linked Mandaric with us in the first place, so I wouldn't be too hasty to rubbish the claims. Mandaric's words certainly seem to welcome some kind of an approach at least, so I'd watch this space.

Agreed. The story appears to have picked up some substance with the other sources mentioned, so just because LCFC say they haven't received an official bid doesn't mean one is not being considered.

We already have a rich owner who doesnt exactly seem to splash the cash...yes I know he's spent some but in comparision to his wealth he hasn't, so I couldnt really give a shit about this story.

Apart from Mike Ashley, where are all the English/British billionaires? Why aren't they buying our clubs? :dunno:

they want to stay billionaires

milan mandaric has stated that he his not looking to sell leicester, but would welcome a partnership, a millionaire and a billionaire in charge of our club, would be fantastic...

:o

you mean to tell me MM might actually be willing to sell the club instead of just looking for investment?

Fat :giggle:

intrestingly, i am living in North Carolina and i personally dont know anyone who looks like they weigh more than me - and i weigh 16 stones.

Although having said that i have been to the big shopping mall and seen a couple of chubsters there. But not nearly as many as people would have you believe... maybe there are more chubsters in other states : dunno:

I personally think we should be very wary of foreign investment - we've all seen what's happened to other english clubs who were sucked in by the promises of supposedly affluent gazillionaires. I'm also worried who Milan might flog us to, he doesn't appear to be too picky as long as he get his cash. Remember Aleaxandre Gaydaymak? He sold Pompey to him and look what happened. I'd prefer a consortium of Leicester based businessmen to come in and wave their wad in Milan's direction.
