A POLISH billionaire wants to buy Leicester City

A Polish billionaire appeals far more to me than an American or Middle Eastern billionaire for the simple reason that they're coming from a country that understands football, rather than just buying a business to boost their personal profile. There's also the prospect of them bringing in decent players from their home country, such as Lewandowski for example. Pretty sure Majewski came from Polonia as well.

Also, he might even let us create a Lech Poznan style Ultra section.

You mention Majewski...he was a product of Groclin but then Polonia bought their top flight license and merged. Groclin were a village team, no out cry when they disappeared.

So a bit like a Polish MK Dons then. <_<

I'm sceptical. If a new chairman with too much money does come in he'd lose patience with Pearson far sooner than the current board. Just like Milan did in his first year at city and the revolving manager's door.

In a certain sense yes but Polonia have been an established club for years and years. Just the capital's second team.

Personally I think Mandaric's just a crook.

The sooner he goes the better

LCFC have told BBC Leicester they've had no approach from Polish businessman Jozef Wojciechowski who's lawyer told me he's heard nothing

Bring him on I say, who cares what he's after, if he gets us some good players, promotion and some good years that'll be great, if relegation and bankruptcy follows, that'll be cool also.

We had good times under Little and O'neill, then it all went pear shaped, so we can do it again, we'll never be a manu or liverpool, we're a yoyo team and always will be :scarf:

I think MM is hopefully smart enough to allow this Polish dude to just buy a big stake in the club and work with MM for at least a year and then maybe have the chance to completely buy MM out.

I don't think this story is going anywhere though and people are right to be sceptical after a lot of so called billionaires messed up other clubs!

We must be an attractive proposition to any potential buyer though and I'm sure Manderic will be constantly looking for big investors such as this guy.

Lets hope there is some truth in it and we could potentially have a billionaire owner!! Sweeeeeeeeeet.

Look at QPR... No thanks.

Really? Yes their owners were a bit nuts but not all billionaires are definately like that.

the source is the sun so its gunna a load of rubbish

Like with any rag sometimes a small bit of truth slips through with the complete BS they usually print.

as much as new owners have caused trouble, notably at man united and liverpool, football is all about money these day`s so we have to take serious consdieration to this, might not get an offer again too soon?

If he has the money and we Don't turn out to be like Pompey this would be brilliant. Definite money for NP, debt from last 2 years wiped out and money for the future!

Yep couldn't agree more mate although I would like MM to stay so that he can provide more advice into running a football club. Definitely don't want this chap to ruin us. Maybe this is the partnership investment MM has been talking about ! Footie is about money and we need to progress IMO.
