J.Lisemore Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I'm more passionate for my club than my country, strangely.
maccfox Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Given a choice between England winning the world cup or City getting 3 points V Palace 1st game of the season i'd take the three points every time!!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Depends who's in the England side, to be honest. Not really comparable.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I wouldn't care if England never qualified for another tournament if I got to see Leicester win the FA Cup.
Fox92 Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I voted play offs because, in my opinion, club comes first for me.
The Doctor Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 club every day of the week. This is probably because i'm not old enough to properly remember the last time we were at a world cup
dandannieldanok Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Depends who's in the England side, to be honest. Not really comparable. Yea very much agreed. After last night this question is a bit of a null point because we know exactly what the reaction is going to be. I personally don't see why there has to be a preference really, I support them both and will continue to.
jonthefox Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I'm more passionate for my club than my country, strangely. im the same, so nowt strange there.
purpleronnie Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 If the england players played as hard for england as they do for their clubs I would probably say Country>Club, but they dont so. Club > Country
Corky Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I support both, I'd love to see us win the World Cup or Euros but I'd like to see Leicester win a trophy more in all honesty.
Fosse Boy Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 FA Cup. I wouldn't care if England never qualified for another tournament if I got to see Leicester win the FA Cup. :trumpet: Valid.
Tilley Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 FA Cup is shit. Much rather see England win the World Cup, to see the country come together in celebration would be special. World Cup > Play Offs > FA Cup.
davieG Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 It's like asking whether you want dinner or pudding, I want it all one doesn't exclude the other.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 If we went out on Wednesday, it is only a slight bit of upset to what I suffered after the penalties to Cardiff.
FoxyPV Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 There are many things I rather happen (none of them good) than see England win the world cup. Leciester every time.
Tommeh Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I'd take a win over Palace opening day over England beating Slovenia. Our national side is THAT much of a joke and I feel absolutely nothing towards them combine that with the huge love for City. FA Cup win is the dream in my lifetime.
Swalker Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Championship has more unpredictable results. This makes for more exciting games.
Tilley Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I'd take a win over Palace opening day over England beating Slovenia. I'm sorry but this is utter rubbish. 46 games in a season to accumulate as many points as possible but from now on England are playing knockout football, course you'd rather see England win Wednesday night! Don't see the great obsession with some people on here thinking it's 'cool' to be distant from the national side when if, however unlikely it is, we were to win a major tournament, you'd be as happy as the next person.

No it isn't. It's my honest preference and represents my feelings towards both teams so unfortunatly it isn't really for you to decide.
Callabinho Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Club because were useless as a country ! well Capello is ! better off taking Waghorn than a mardy Rooney ! he'd put way more passion into it !
