hemelfox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2081435,00.html Not sure this link will work.
Guest Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I'm not sure it should technically be in the Leicester City Forum 'once I found out Hull were interested it became quite an easy decision for me' It's the new player/manager proforma at work again
Ford Super Sunday Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 'once I found out Hull were interested it became quite an easy decision for me' Someones needs to tell him he's at HULL CITY, not MANCHESTER CITY
leicesterseddon Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 'Once I found out how much Hull City wanted me it became quite an easy decision for me," Is what is quoted in the article. Everyone knows this is a backwards move for him - it's just a matter of time before we find out the truth about his departure. Because it won't come from Mandaric or Hoos. Then again, there was probably a 'hush-it-up' clause in his compensation deal...
Benji Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I feel like a gf has cheated on me and started rubbing in how much the new guy is so much better
Fox92 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 'once I found out Hull were interested it became quite an easy decision for me' Just read all the article and laughed when I saw this particluar bit. How big does he think Hull City are?
Guest Bilo Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I feel like a gf has cheated on me and started rubbing in how much the new guy is so much better What makes it worse is that the new guy is in fact a homeless crack addict with no money and good for precisely nothing. But STILL she dumped you for him. Grr.
Samilktray Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The only time Hull City have been relevant is when Jay Jay Okocha was there.
bluebeau Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I'm not sure it should technically be in the Leicester City Forum 'once I found out Hull were interested it became quite an easy decision for me' It's the new player/manager proforma at work again Hopefully he'll miss us more than we miss him. He couldn't have been very happy or committed to LCFC to come out with that comment, so F-OFF Pearson!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 It is actually horrible to think that this time last week everything was normal and we were looking forward to what would hopefully be another good season. Now he is saying the decision to leave us and move to Hull City was an easy one. And the picture of him smiling in a Hull shirt is pissing me off. I know there is no loyalty in football but fooking hell did he ever actually give a shit about this club at all?
leicesterseddon Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Hopefully he'll miss us more than we miss him. He couldn't have been very happy or committed to LCFC to come out with that comment, so F-OFF Pearson! As, I said: 1) The quote on the website is different (albeit only slightly, but the tone is different) 2) Managers and players use exactly the same line at every other club, including ours, regardless of whether they really mean it
Unabomber Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 It's just standard. He is not going to come out and say the truth: "I am fully aware that Hull is a shithole, and their team is old, and average, so the decision was extremely hard, but I came anyway." Although that would have made me feel slightly better about it.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Is what is quoted in the article. Everyone knows this is a backwards move for him - it's just a matter of time before we find out the truth about his departure. Because it won't come from Mandaric or Hoos. Then again, there was probably a 'hush-it-up' clause in his compensation deal... Yeah I get the increasing feeling he felt his position was untenable due to a fall-out with MM or Hoos. If everybody else knows that Hull is a weird move to make from Leicester, it won't have been lost on Pearson and if he was settled here, he'd have laughed at Hull till he was limp for those reasons. It was a choice between Hull and unemployment and Hull won. Not that we'll ever officially find out of course.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Back to the mauling , Who have Dull City ever mauled???

Poakey Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Whole thing makes me feel sick, not a 2nd thought to the Leicester fans. Oh yeah, where was he before he joined Leicester?
surrifox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 "when I found out they'd only approached 4 managers before they turned to me it became an easy decision for me to join Hull"
landofgreenginger Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The state of Leicesters train station makes me feel violently ill What the hell is THAT it's like being back in the stone age
Zingari Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 John Prescott and the Housemartins What else is Hull famous for ?
