LE5 Chris Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The thing that annoys me more than anything is that he can't even find it within himself to acknowledge the fans - it's bad enough that neither Mandaric or Hoos are prepared to be honest enough to give any kind of explanation. After two successful seasons we're just supposed to accept that he joined Hull to further his career and get on with it - HULL for fuksake. Thanks for getting us back out of League 1 Nigel, I hope you fail miserably in your new job.
Koke Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Don't really care. It's a massive backwards move for him. Somebody should remind him he moved to Hull City, and not Manchester City. Pearson rebuilt this club and at the same time raised his status and got more recognition. That's how football works. It's just a shame he moved to a club that irrelevant club, and not some othr club with at least some credentials.
G-OIMC Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 "Once I found out how much Hull City wanted me it became quite an easy decision for me," "I'm delighted to be here now and I'm looking forward to what is a crucial part of our preparation for next season. "I had a pretty informal chat with Adam Pearson and Russell Bartlett and they talked about their aspirations and how they saw the Club moving. They see me as somebody who has got a chance of realising those aspirations. Cheers Nigel... There is no loyalty in football anymore..The days of Fergie and Wenger are long gone. Why did Walsh go anyone???
LE5 Chris Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 It is Steve Walsh who came in with Pearson as part of his backroom staff rather than the ex-player. He heads Pearson's scouting network. DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 As I have said before, managers have no true loyalty. The knives are now coming out, and it will be the people who thought he was a God, who will do most of the stabbing! Pearson has gone, and that's it. We now just have to get on with it. What I am curious about, is who he will recruit from us. Fryatt? Wellens? King? Hobbs? They are the likely targets, especially the latter two. So I can see even more anti Pearson fury coming up soon, so watch this page!
landofgreenginger Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I've been doing a bit of research on the glorious city of Leicester to help me understand why he'd want to leave such a utopia and quite frankly my findings have left me feeling like diving into a swamp, it's tragic that people in this day and age have to live like this. Look at the state of the university for christ sake it looks like an abandoned frozen pea factory
SeCrEt FoX Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Dull was voted Britains worst city to live in so shut it and fook off twat get a life
Pst Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Well if he feels like that, then fair enough. He obviously isn't as loyal as we all thought. It would be nice though if he acknowledged the support we gave him the last 2 years, but oh well that's football. Leicester City Fc - the stepping stone for 'greater things'
Fox92 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 John Prescott and the Housemartins What else is Hull famous for ? The Deep what is 'landofgreenginger' doing?
Captain... Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Well if he feels like that, then fair enough. He obviously isn't as loyal as we all thought. It would be nice though if he acknowledged the support we gave him the last 2 years, but oh well that's football. Leicester City Fc - the stepping stone for 'greater things' This is exactly my problem, it is normal when a manager leaves a club he was successful at to go to a "bigger" club to at least acknowledge the time he had there, we adored him, we loved him, he can't even give us a reason why, even if it's bullshit, a simple thanks to the fans who supported him and chanted his name over the last 2 years would suffice. I know he is not a fan of the press and a private man, but I thought he was also a man of respect and honour, Nigel you have a few days to prove me wrong.
Webbo Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The state of Leicesters train station makes me feel violently ill What the hell is THAT it's like being back in the stone age I've been doing a bit of research on the glorious city of Leicester to help me understand why he'd want to leave such a utopia and quite frankly my findings have left me feeling like diving into a swamp, it's tragic that people in this day and age have to live like this. Sniffer-Clarke Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 If pearsons is as good as hes cracked up to be,hows it that Hulls the only club to come in for him and he will find that Adam Pearson will be`a tougher nut to crack than MM when it comes to transfers he should have rang Nigel Clough. b
Foxes1 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 When he was told the Tigers were interested in him he thought he was going to Welford Rd, after all his hoof ball tactics would have gone down well there.

Leicester is 12th link
LondonTiger Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 http://www.worst-city.com/Hull-The-Worst-Place-to-live-in-England-City-Town-UK.htm Wish NP would of seen this first !!!!! 7 years ago, possibly... but not 2010.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Anyone else find "my city is better than your city" almost as dull as "my club is bigger than your club"? Can't we just agree than both Leicester and Hull are shit holes?
Corky Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The state of Leicesters train station makes me feel violently ill What the hell is THAT it's like being back in the stone age It allows trains to travel through Leicester. Some even stop there to let passengers on and off.
Bugg Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Anyone else find "my city is better than your city" almost as dull as "my club is bigger than your club"? Can't we just agree than both Leicester and Hull are shit holes? I think we can all agree that this is a bigger shit hole than both
Pegosteve Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I worked in Hull for 5 years and it does have some good points, the main one being the Clive Sullivan Way Westbound!
Sk4 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 In his first speech at his new club not once did he thank the Leicester fans or the club for the support or loyalty ,he will realise as the hull supporters will that when another club comes along he will jump ship again
CosbehFox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The state of Leicesters train station makes me feel violently ill What the hell is THAT it's like being back in the stone age It's a listed building and it's been cleaned up since. It's by far the most well kept and prettiest train station in the East Midlands. On the front of it is a statue of Thomas Cook, nothing like protecting your history. I've been doing a bit of research on the glorious city of Leicester to help me understand why he'd want to leave such a utopia and quite frankly my findings have left me feeling like diving into a swamp, it's tragic that people in this day and age have to live like this. Look at the state of the university for christ sake it looks like an abandoned frozen pea factory One of those buildings is again actually listed and regarded as one of the most impressive designs of it's kind. We do actually have two universities here and some of Leic Uni is based in some of the most beautiful parts of Leicester. The fact that you lot keep biting means there's gotta be some proof in the pudding.
