Finnegan Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 TUM TA TEETALLY TUM TA TOO Rob Schneider is about to find out, that getting out of the npower Championship is harder than it looks!
Matt Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Assuming we don't make top six I'd fucking love a South Wales play off final. What an occasion that'd be. Brilliant. Partly because it's a guaranteed Welsh side in the Prem and partly because it'd be absolute carnage - but mostly just for listening to Matt rant about having two Welsh sides in the final of the "English league Championship." Would be frickin' hilarious. Good Luck to em'. Obviously been better than us all season if we don't make the top 6, and yes should they go up I'd want either of them to beat Arsenal when the occasion arrises. Thing I don't get, and would like explained is when a individual from either (well Cardiff, they've done it twice now, not so sure Swansea have) team gets a fine or ban how they can get it overturned by the FAW when they are in the English leagues, and the English FA/FL have issued that fine or ban, e.t.c, Could Leicester or any other team get it overturned by the FAW? Surely their is an unfair advantage if not as within reason the FAW is clearly going to favour 'one of their own'. Surely even you, as a Leicester fan (Unless you can argue in favour of the FAW overturning such things, in which case fair enough) can see this as a valid point? That said I would prefer to see one of the English teams promoted but nothing I can do about it, what will be will be.
Finnegan Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 It does make a bit of a mockery of their participation in the English league system, I agree, but it happens extremely rarely and - as said elsehwere - it's not like the FA have a great track record themselves. Alan Shearer vs. Neil Lennon, for example. I hardly think it's a big enough problem to rant about, personally.
davieG Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 I think Reading will be the ones to get promoted, late entry into the top six, on a roll reminds me of us in the 90s

Just saying what I said in my last post, which you have agreed with.
BoneDog Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Henderson had a mare for Sheff Utd today. Couple of bad misses in a crucial game.

Corky Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Henderson had a mare for Sheff Utd today. Couple of bad misses in a crucial game. Reminded me of Ade Akinibiyi vs Liverpool at Filbert St.
Corky Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Megson v Adams twice next year will be a purist's delight.
MikeyT Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Dunno if it's been mentioned but just heard that Graham Alexander has now reached 1000 league games!
Guest Bilo Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 40,000 attendance in a League One game that isn't a play-off match seems crazy. Both clubs are fairly well off so it could even be a battle for the title between the Sheffield clubs. Fun. Still going to miss the Dev Cat for away games next year though. Looks like Donny and Barnsley are on the to-do list.
Libertine Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Well done Sav. Taraabt is such an arse. And Warnock.
