Libertine Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 ****ing hate Blackpool. Tin pot club in a tatty town, who had a bit of success and they go all 'big time'. Really hope they go down. If anything, going 'big time' would be ignoring your lower league rivals when you're in the PL.
Samilktray Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 If Forest or Derby went down and LEicester fans did something similar would it make us look small time? Not that City fans are remotely interesting enough to do anything like this
Simi Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Just me who thinks these Blackpool stunts, while witty, really do make them look small time as fvck? I don't think it does. I actually think it's pretty funny and imaginative. Would be better if they were guaranteed to stay up themselves though.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I don't think it does. I actually think it's pretty funny and imaginative. Would be better if they were guaranteed to stay up themselves though. Agree with this to be honest, great banter
Guest Bilo Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I don't think it does. I actually think it's pretty funny and imaginative. Would be better if they were guaranteed to stay up themselves though. It would still be a bit cringey, but nowhere near as bad as now. There's still a very strong possibility that Blackpool will be a Championship club next year so hiring planes and silly messages on Countdown gives the impression they're just happy to be in a higher division than their rivals next season, which is beyond small time. Surely they should be more interested in their own status next season than that of their local rivals? If Forest were relegated from the Championship and we were 18th in the Prem I would reserve piss taking until I knew we were going to be a Premiership club next season, wouldn't give a shit about them personally.
samlcfc Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Dont see how some people can get so pissed about it it is pretty funny to be honest, its not like what they did was disgusting in anyway, just light hearted humour. Some people could do well to stop taking things so seriously aha Didnt some leicester fans hang a banner from a bridge outside Nottingham when they went down saying don't come back or something similar?
ScouseFox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Good stuff. Small time? Who cares, it's pretty funny and witty. Heaven forbid fans taking the piss out of their massive local rivals if they go tits up. Not like there's a thread on here laughing at Forest drawing 0-0 in the Play-Offs, despite us not getting there. We are so small time for having a laugh at the expense of our local rivals.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 So, how does everyone see the Reading v Cardiff match going? I think Cardiff have got the ability to go to Reading and win.
ScouseFox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Reckon it'll depend on whether Cardiff take it to Reading. They're shaky at the back, but going forward they're a match for anyone. If they attack and go for a win, then they'll get a good result, but if they try and sit back and take 0-0 back to Wales, they might get exploited at the back. Not sure on Reading really, only seen them twice this season, both times against us, and it's difficult to judge what they're all about from those two games.
Father Ted Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Just seen the Swansea sending off, ridiculous decision in my opinion. 1) He got the ball, 2) There was no excessive force. Love it how Forest have fcuked up
Father Ted Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Also, on tonights game, I feel that Reading's bubble burst after losing against Sheffield United. I can see it being a tight game.
Asha Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Just seen the Swansea sending off, ridiculous decision in my opinion. 1) He got the ball, 2) There was no excessive force. Love it how Forest have fcuked up He probably just got carried away - but he's gone in studs high on his knee and used quite a bit of force. Obviously there's no need for McGugan's excessive play-acting but I'm not sure it can really be argued with.
Ozwin Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Inb4Whittingham moves the ball 5 yards infield and scores
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Anyone got a stream. Pref sopcast. Hook a brother up
Fox92 Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 0-0 in both games. At least the second legs should be better.
MC Prussian Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 And Mark Robins leaves Barnsley - with the Tykes board stressing they did not sack him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/b/barnsley/9484019.stm
Fox92 Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 And Mark Robins leaves Barnsley - with the Tykes board stressing they did not sack him. http://news.bbc.co.u...ley/9484019.stm Like Robins, I think he'll get a job at another club. He did well at Rotherham, and Barnsley, he balanced them up. At least he didn't park the bus when they came to the Walkers last season. __________ As for todays match, I've got a feeling that Reading will win, but my brain says Cardiff will win. I can just imagine Rodgers playing Reading in the final.
