Joe. Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Cracking turnaround. So then, 4-4-2 Saturday then? King in an advanced position finally?
Jackirius Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Wellens and Howard... Game of two half's... Sounds like we played well... Let the season start Sounds like Stringer has got something for us tomorrow morning. Telling us too tune in and check the papers Heskey anyone?
Leicfox Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 2-1 win. Sounded very promising second period. Lets hope that Northampton can take Reading into Extra time, and tire them out for the weekend. Andy King....GOD.
Leicester_Mad Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 We havent lost against Leeds in quite a while now have we...Since our last season in the Prem?
darko2k7 Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Reading Drawing 2-2 going to extra time fingers crossed
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 That's it now. One win = win the league cup, go on an unbeaten league run lasting 6 months and finish in the playoffs.
Corky Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Let's concentrate on the Carling Cup Well, according to Paul Jewell, the much-maligned 4-4-2 saw us play better so maybe we should start with that on Saturday?
J.Lisemore Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Great result. Hopefully this raises morale now
Yojoe36 Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Almost a great game with some issues. I'm shaking, dunno why But hey, we won, and stevie with 200 goals
ramboacdc Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 whens the draw for the next round? tonight or tomorrow?
Head Honcho Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Wellens and Howard... Game of two half's... Sounds like we played well... Let the season start :scarf: Sounds like Stringer has got something for us tomorrow morning. Telling us too tune in and check the papers Heskey anyone? Hopefully this will give us a big confidence boost for Saturday. Well done boys it would have been so easy to just let Leeds run away with this but a big up for sticking to it
Aeropars Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 I think its essential we play 442 as our wide front 2 when playing 433 simply get pushed back to effectivly play a 451. This could be a vital win to get our season up and running. I thought both teams put out pretty strong teams so this could be a good indicator.
The Doctor Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 We havent lost against Leeds in quite a while now have we...Since our last season in the Prem? december 2005 2-1 at elland road. moussa sounded very effective though - potential start alongside king in the middle on saturday ?
Guest Bilo Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Great win and much needed confidence boost. Sounds as though our Andy made all the difference. Hope we get a decent tie in the next round, Premiership London team away please.
Jackirius Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Just need Blackburn to hold out and The Dons to win and it will be puuuuurfect Sounded like a great 2nd half come back... Good Effort Lads ! Will look forward to the news tomorrow
dandannieldanok Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 I agree with the woman who just rang in to RL, King was man of the match, we could all see him quite clearly run the game from our radios.
wurmer Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Scary 1st half, different team 2nd half. Good tactical changes, good job by Sousa.
Leicfox Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Off topic but still regarding the cup. Holloway has tonight missed the game in charge of Blackpool and instead gone and watched another game... never heard of a manager doing that before, is a common????
Sk4 Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 I bet Leeds are sick of the sight of Stevie Howard that's twice he's scored the winner both times late on ,great win boys
Jon the Hat Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Off topic but still regarding the cup. Holloway has tonight missed the game in charge of Blackpool and instead gone and watched another game... never heard of a manager doing that before, is a common???? He has one objective, and it isn't the League cup.
