Portsmouth Post Match

Should not have left out Wellens, Hobbs

Should not have subbed Yuki off.

Morrison and Oakley need to go and Nielsen for that matter. Im sure lamey could have done a better job.

In a forward three, Waggers and Fryatt should be playing up close to Howard.

The back line was a shambles and the team didnt defend. Looked uninterested.

Apart from Logan - All players, coaching staff and manager need to take blame imo

A Leicester striker scores a league goal - this represents real progress.

Great statistic :D

The saving grace for some of you might be that you didn't fork out to make the trip down!

Losing 6-1 is naturally pretty dreadful anyway but to me it seemed your defence gifted Pompey most of the goals with such slack defending rather than great skill from the home side.

Anyway hope things turn around for you...

Dear Mr. Mandaric,

Dear Mr. Sousa

Over the course of only two months, you've successfully managed to destroy a wonderful Championship club who was once known for the phrase "Foxes Never Quit".

You've sucked the club, its players and its fans dry of any passion and let it hover on thin grounds, laughing.

You symbolise to me all that is going wrong with modern football.

We have a chairman who doesn't want to be at this club.

We have a manager who doesn't want to be at this club.

And we have players who don't want to be at this club (under the current manager).

It used to be the other way around.

What's the saying?

"The fish smells from the head".

I, for once, hope that you draw the correct conclusions and assess the situation accordingly.

Dear Mr Milan Mandaric, please leave the club into the hands of someone more competent and more interested in the well-being of the entire organisation and its place within the community of Leicester.

Dear Mr Paulo Sousa, would you start attending English classes so that you can start making post-match comments that actually make sense? Would you, as a consequence of this, also stop coming up with the same hollow phrases all the time?

Dear players, may I suggest that some of you take the cards into your own hands, seeing that your manager and his (Portuguese) entourage are, let's put it mildly, clueless? Even if your manager can't lead, you can make a difference on the pitch by playing for the shirt.

And to all the Thai investors out there: You just got fooked by sexy football, played by a bunch of ladyboys.

I don't believe what I've just witnessed. I haven't seen a complete and utter shambles like that since Frank McLintock was manager.

Disgraceful.

We had it coming after Tiesday. Without Logan's saves in that game they could have scored six.

We're really poor.

You know, when the cup draw came out, I sat at home thinking ah nice, Portsmouth away, I can go to Portsmouth on the Monday and stay down there until the Saturday. You know make a few days out of it, also thinking two games against Portsmouth should help kick start our season.

Well Tuesday 9:30pm it was looking good.

Seriously now, what on earth was that? Morrison? Seriously man, I watched you for YEARS at Cambridge, and I’ve never seen you do that. I know he was trying to spin and get his hand in the way of kitsons vision, but there was no need.

What was wrong with our goal btw? Didn’t look offside, although we were the other end of the pitch.

The Second goal is just awful defending. Tuesday night Nugent got so many 1 on 1’s it was scary. You would assume we would have sorted that out, but nope, we decided to play a high line again, and got punished. It’s a foul, no doubt about it, and it’s one of those you expect the player to be sent off.

The third goal, once again awful defending. Logan makes a stunning double save and nobody is back to try help him out. Decent finish at the angle but why was nobody on the line, I mean they had three shots, so it’s not like we didn’t have time to get a player back on the line.

The fourth goal, Morrison (I think) what are you doing? 3-0 down trying to skin someone when last man. Just no need, get rid of it already man.

The fifth goal, at the moment I can’t remember the fifth goal….. But the sixth, not the best kick by Logan, probably his only mistake, however we have 5 defenders back, and brown walks past them, a decent save by logan again, and then brown taps in. Just can’t believe it, shell shocked.

Logan was outstanding tonight. You know you’ve been terrible when you sit there thinking how good logan has been when you lose 6-1. Defence was just shocking, we looked a mess from the start. I don’t like slagging off players and I do defend them as much as I can, but they were awful today.

Minus logan the only other player who did alright was Fryatt, beat a lot of men when he came on and wanted to get involved as much as possible, even at 4-0 down.

I’ve seen the usual 300 posts slagging off the manager, but there is only so much he can do. He can’t stop Morrison giving away an idiotic pen, or stop Vitor getting sent off. The players were the fault today, and yes Sousa should have prepared them better, but for me today it was the players who are at fault.

We need to stop trying to play good football, I don’t care how boring the football is if we are winning. It’s amazing how optimistic you can be after one game, only for it all to be kicked in your face again. I can understand why people would be calling for Sousa head, but lets face it, who would come and manage our club after that? Sir Martin isn’t coming back, so please stop asking for him

Our next game is huge, we must win, it’s as simple as. If we lose 3-0 or so after this the heads will be underground and we will be fearing serious trouble.

Pretty much the only time I laughed/smiled was when the Portsmouth fans started sining “Milan’s coming home”

Ah well, STUFFED 6-1, travelled hundreds of miles, spent hundreds of pounds, but I’m still LEICESTER TILL I DIE, and I’ll be at the next game cheering the lads on again. :scarf:

43 years I have been supporting... cannot remember such an embarrassing performance... Am sorry but Sousa has lost all my respect tonight he wasn't even on the touchline directing the troops.. just seemed to be having a chat with is mate most of the time god knows what about but obviously not football.

He has playing pedigree without doubt but does he understand that the English game is about passion as much as anything else.. just look how MON got a team of second rate premiership footballers (no offence to the guys but they were) doing remarkable things.

10 games he should be given but cannot honestly see any change.

Mandaric tonight was a total embarrassment to both himself and our great club for me he may as well stay down there tonight and not bother coming back... lost total respect for him now...

Dublin just summed it up premiership v championship after all they did have over 800 premiership appearances in their team.. but still no excuse for our performance.

Sorry I read, but don't post much. I have watched city for 48 years but this makes the most sense. And yes Mandaric.
