Probably getting sucked off by his pompey bum buddies.

That would be extraordinary.

After this(i cant say performance) we had better pray we dont get arsenal away in the cup!

I quite fancy a trip to the Emirates.

We're not likely to play there in the league any time soon..

What the fook.

Put this down to a freak accident and move on. That was never a red card though.

Sacking Sousa will end our season right now, no hope of anything other than survival. Not an option just 8 games in.

This was no accident, we couldn't defend, couldn't pass the ball to each other and the strikers got fuck all service.

Keeping Sousa will do the same.

Sacking him will definitely fook us up though ala MA with all his foreign signings.

He's got to be given until Christmas, we've played well in some games and deserve a lot more points.

We were defo very very shit tonight though.

The 4-5-1 leaves Howard who is past it anyway totally isolated, theres no one around for him to head it too. Waghorn is wasted on the right, King is our only hope right now. Fryatt has become disillounsied.

Our most dangerous threat by a mile has left to Blackpool.

And we're on the end of terrible refereeing also.

Horrid.

Scunny played very well against Manyoo, tough game again next week.

Personally I think we have got a good enough squad to make the play offs apart from maybe a little short in the forward department. But I think it's fair to say the system just doesn't suit us, we haven't got the players to play 4-3-3, Dyer is the one and only player that it suits in my opinion.

I am a fan of Sousa and wouldn't like to see him go but football is a results business and if we don't get 4 points from the next two games then he's going to be a very lucky man to still be in charge.

You know that.. I know that, ever fvker on here knows that - so why the hell doesn't Sousa seem to know that......

not going to read the inevitable 8 pages of sousa out crap, but i had a long walk home and took in a fabulous but incredibly insensitive firework display, along the way composing my thoughts on the game in a hopefully rational manner.

so, whilst the significance off the harsh (given the limited contact, supporting defenders and referee's rather distant viewpoint) sending off, and the following very flukey deflected goal, cannot be underestimated, we were a very poor team tonight.

and even though it's easy to blame sousa, and i do believe he was slightly at fault tonight (but i'll consider that in a moment), i believe it was the performances of three players in particular, unfortunately the three core players, that were the main culprits in our capitulation tonight.

1. Morrison - it will hopefully be a long time before he gets another run out in a blue shirt - after getting hopelessly skinned against QPR, tonight he got beaten so many times i lost count, not to mention the stupid and untimely blatant handball which started the collapse.

2. Oakley - like howard, he seems to be one of those players that has a half decent match and then gets a guaranteed place for the next dozen games. Tonight we needed a captains performance and we got nothing, no inspiration, no leadership - time to do the decent thing Matt and resign the club captaincy so we don't have to watch your half arsed, inept midfield play every week.

3. Howard - tonight nearly every attack we had, at some point seemed to go through Howard, and almost every time it came near him it broke down, he missed numerous headers completely, had a poor first touch and put at least a couple of free headers over the bar. The fact that he scored only emphasises this fact, he was not involved in the build up and thus we managed a goal scoring opportunity. the fact that he toe poked it in from two yards does not make up for the 89 minutes of poor football he supplied.

These performances aside, no one else really had much to shout about, logan - bless him - had a blinder and kept them from double figures, and waghorn looked better in the second half when he moved inside behind howard and fryatt (yes, apparently he was playing)....

anyway, sousa...

i don't want him to get sacked, because that is the sort of kneejerk short-termism that got us relegated, but tonight i believe he made a crucial mistake.

following the sending off, he elected to replace Abe with Hobbs. and i think this completely fucked up his own tactics. firstly, it broke up the very impressive trio of Abe-King-Dyer which was just beautiful to watch, culminating, if i remember correctly in the fabulous but disallowed goal. secondly, it left us with a midfield of oakley and king, who were then totally overwhelmed and was the major reason we conceeded so many goals in the end...

we beat pompey with a midfield of moreno-king-abe - today we were humiliated with king-oakley.

this is my only real complaint against sousa.

not a good day at the office: a bit of bad luck, a premiership team rediscovering their quality and confidence, a poor substitution and some very under-par displays by our most and least experienced players.

Might sound silly but Martyn Waghorn is on my Facebook - but is it somebody else writing on his own site as he has put that something has to give - players or Sousa to go? Silly question, but was it really him who wrote it or somebody else??

Waggy

By reading other statements

"Martyn Waghorn is set to be a permanent Leicester City player by the morning....who's excited? Im nursing a semi at the thought of this!"

id say its unlikely its him

I agree with the analysis of the three players mentioned above. However, many fans on here were calling for Morrison at CB a few weeks back. I wasn't convinced then and nothing since has convinced me otherwise.

He's ok out of the thick of it at RB, but at CB he doesn't cut it at this level.

We need a tough nut alongside Hobbs, but don't have one.

As for Oakley, useless captain. No drive, no passion, Clemence in disguise.

The handball was so bizarre that the possibility of a spot fix crossed my mind

I wonder if anyone had a bet with a far east bookie as to a penalty being conceded at a certain time and Pompey to score 6

Now that would be a nice double

The not quite so unpalatable alternative being that we really are that shit.

I don't know about "Sousa out!" I'm fooking out after watching that on the telly.

It is worth the risk of getting bottled by some twat trying to out arsehole another twat just to get shit faced now.

Even before the bizzare penalty something wasn't right, I turned to my son after 5 mins and said

I'm sure their all pissed.

We struggled all night to play basic football - pass, control , mark, close down, it's not rocket science.

I've always liked Morrison, he's an honest lad still young and learning his trade but tonight his

performance was as inept as I've seen from a C.B for a long time. He needs to be taken out of

the team for a while. However we are not spoiled for choice in this area at present.

Sousa needs to take a long hard look at himself tonight and ask himself these questions

1 Why drop Hobbs our most consistant C.B ?

2 Why take off Abe and leave on both wide men ?

3 Why persist with this formation when it is clearly not paying dividends ?

We're in a complete mess in football terms, looking down the barrel of relegation if we keep playing like that, and yet our 'fantastic' new owners are still saying they're going to be bringing in players to the club that the management have no interest in and that they see a bright and prosperous future for 'the club'...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... had this new bunch of jokers not taken over and ousted Pearson (perhaps not the reason but it looks likely that it was this) and forced Sousa to sign all sorts of players who I'm sure he knows nothing about, we'd wouldn't be in this complete mess.

Football teams need stable management from the MANAGER and a set of backroom staff to help him get them playing the way we need to get results... now, Sousa might be getting it wrong, but he's certainly not being helped by a bunch of interfering foreigners who seem to think they can gut Leicester City Football Club and do with it as they please!

I say, FUCK RIGHT OFF!
