Bilbo Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 IMO if you've been down to watch Leicester during the past 3 seasons you would know how important players like Fryatt have been to the club and have ensured our time in Division 2 ( never going to call it League one because it isn't) was a short one.
Aleksz Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 can someone give me then general jist of why there is 20 pages?
Kitchandro Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 can someone give me then general jist of why there is 20 pages? Basically discussion about if Sousa should go, what he's done wrong, who is to blame or where we are (Mandaric), and also some crazy people saying Pearson was shit and he left us with a crap squad
lcfc_jme Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 True, but as I said, he has clearly improved since then. He is not going to be at his peak when he's 22 is he? Nor is he going to be when he's playing for Holoway's (or in fact Sousa's) team! Evidently not. He'll continue to improve with the right attitude, but at the moment he doesn't seem to have that attitude. He's seemingly back to his "can't be arsed", sulking phase which made him look turd in the first place. Yes Matty scored a lot of goals in League One and yes there was a point in the Pearson Championship season where we relied a little too heavily on him, but overall, he takes too many touches and wastes too many of the "simple" chances to be regarded as an irreplaceable diamond. He's decent, no more, no less.

I think if he'd have treated him a bit better at the start he would have got a better response. Picking DJ ahead of him when he was being sold anyway seemed pointless and counter productive when fryatt has scored goals when he's been confident, whereas DJ did fook all for us.

Indeed not. It's Division 3.

In which case you should call it Division 3 then. Oops of well great minds and all that.
Corky Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 It was League One when we were there. Division 3 at all other times.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 Beat ya! But in all honesty, only us oldies can remember that.
reynard Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 can someone give me then general jist of why there is 20 pages? Yes it goes something like this. Anyone heard Sousa got fired? NO Well pearson was crap No he wasn't yes he was Well let's get MON back No chance Well in that case Fryatt isn't any good Come on he scores 1 goal every 3.5 games No it's every 5.4 games No it's every 3.5 games No it's every 5.4 games You're not reading what I say properly No you're not reading what I say properly Actually if you take into account his sub appearnaces Fryatt scores a goal every 178minutes and 49seconds. But has anyone heard that Sousa been fired? No. Think that sums things up.

People will point to his form this season but he's not really been given what you might call a "run".
Cheese Me Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Anyone else noticed Stringer's hints on Twitter this afternoon and evening... 'Hoping for an early night, may not happen.' 'Usual, no different to normal press conference at #LCFC Sousa to once again face the music. Interview on 104.9fm at 6pm. Could be a busy day' Kind of suggests he thinks something might happen...

Any chance he has a life outside of Leicester City...?
