Anyone else heard Sousa got fired?

Did I say I could do any better than Sousa? Nope. The idiots are those that got carried away by a rumour and then started speculating about MON coming back. Jesus! Back in the room people!!

Or am I not meant to have an opinion?

Did I write you did say that? Nope.

I also think perhaps you are wrongly associating speculating about MON coming back with what people are saying they would like to happen. I do not remember reading anyone writing that MON is coming back as FACT!! Do you? :dunno:

But Sousa probably had more success than Zola as a player so why would they look up to him any more than looking up to the present incumbent. Zola himself recently admitted that he showed his emotions too much to the West Ham players last season culminating in losing most of the dressing room. I can see no difference between him and Sousa. Great players very rarely make good managers.

point taken

The fact that he seems to have been sacked from most of his previous jobs worries me.

Did a decent job at West'aaaaaaam, not so good at Charlton, and there seemed to be suspicious circumstances surrounding his Southampton departure.

Think he'd be worthwhile, however, Sousa's not even gone yet.

I'd rather have Curbishley

Wasn't part of his case against West Ham to do with buying and selling players over his head, you think he'd fancy coming here with the chairman in waiting saying he's buying players from all over Asia.

There are a few people who would like Sousa to be given more time, I'm not one of them as I've said things don't 'feel' right since I joined this site at the beginning of the season, and if we're heading in the wrong direction its better to change sooner rather than later.

However, if the people who want more time are right the game against Norwich is surely their cut-off point. After a thrashing is a great time to judge people, its when you get a reaction, everyone re-doubles their efforts all the players, the coaches and of course Mr Sousa himself, surely if the team selection is ineffective, the players aren't motivated, his signings (supposedly how you judge a manager) are absent, or we get beat then even the 'appeasers' can see its not working out, and surely its time to get rid.

ps. No to Pardew he's had more misses than hits & inherited talented players at his one & only hit (West Ham)

Does it even fucking matter? Season's over, may as well hope for a good Championship season next time around or another good run in league one...

I beg to differ that it was his only "hit".

He built Reading into a pretty decent side before going to West Ham. At West Ham he was the one who brought in guys like Harewood, Benayoun and Reo Coker who were major players in their success. At Southampton, he again built them up into a strong league one side and had it not been for the points deduction at the start they wouldve made at the very least the play offs. A lot of Saints fans I know were very disapointed that he was allowed to go.

The only club he's failed at is Charlton.

Nowhere does it say that pardew has been offered the job- that person has simply been reading ( or has been told about)the message board speculation. Looks to me like the person writing that has a friend on foxes talk...

If he is being sacked give the job to one of three people. Muzzy Izzet, Steve Walsh (Player) or Chris Powell. Expirenced? No. Passionate and give a fook about Leicester? Yes. That's all I care about.

The new owners need to grasp the nettle, take control of their "investment" and make sure that Mandaric has no input at all regarding any new choice of manager. The man is a joke in that department.

If it's true that Sousa was appointed as a condition of the takeover then wouldn't that be the worst possible decision.

I actually trust Mandaric more than this joke consortium.
