Mee Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 If he has then i hope Chris Powell gets it as the assistant for a while. Just a lovely bloke.
stivesfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Stringer is quiet on his twitter he normally knows something !! I await the bookies list of replacements usual candidates walshy John Gregory Brian little Ian dowie!!! If Sousa is gone fingers crossed mandaric has too! I bet the birch will be in for a bollicking if he did tell that chap all that info and it's true
m00nie Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 fingers crossed its just another rumour.. if its true the next man needs to be brave, they could be out of work by christmas teh way some people round here go on... guess at least tickets will still be cheap in the championship with some of the names branded about....
Wymsey Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Is Chris on a short/long term contract? just wondering. We need him
1964FOX Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 If it's true I'd suggest you hold fire on your celebrations until you see who replaces him and how well they do. This is so true, personally I would give him more time but I am more and more in a minority. Also it doesn't get rid of the ego's causing problems behind the scenes, let's hope if it is true the new manager can keep them happy which I imagine would mean playing the regularly no matter how they perform.
Matt Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 If it's true I'd suggest you hold fire on your celebrations until you see who replaces him and how well they do. It does unsettle me, I mean I want him to go, finding it hard to enjoy supporting LCFC under his leadership but as you say we could be left with worse, depends who appoints the next manager - Milan who has only ever appointed 2 decent managers in his football career, or the new owners who we are going in blind with.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Not in a million years Aslong as we get a manager i can understand and plays fryatt im okay (Y) Wonder if Maradona could speak english? Being serious, I'd say someone like Pardew will be the next boss.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 nothing to do with this by i shit myself when the breaking news was 'paul gascoigne has been appointed manager of...'
ozleicester Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Surely a joke... well the new guy gets 8 games!
Jackirius Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Wonder if Maradona could speak english? Being serious, I'd say someone like Pardew will be the next boss. Pardew and Dowie will be the names chucked about when Sousa does eventually go. As with every club who loses a manager at the moment.
JoeyB Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Tony Mowbray would be the best shout if he has gone!!!
sdb Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Hmmm, I think Norwich at home is a good game to gauge where we may be heading (i.e. after a thumping and a game we should be winning), so i'd keep PS for that personally. If he goes, would like Chrissy P to be given a go. If not him, Gus Poyet could be a shout.
Wymsey Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I want Steve Coppell or Phil Brown, not the rest of the crap you lot mentioned

Edmund Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Can't believe I'm saying this but at this moment in time I'd be thoroughly relieved if Phil Brown was named as our new manager if it meant Sousa was on his way out.
Webbo Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I like the rumour about Sven. If he was just about to sign for some arab club it might be why the owners have moved now. Assuming it's not all bullshit obviously.
cc_star Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Exactly, we could all be begging for Sousa to come back in three months time. NEVER!!!
Leicester_Mad Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I like the rumour about Sven. If he was just about to sign for some arab club it might be why the owners have moved now. Assuming it's not all bullshit obviously. what rumour is this?
wurmer Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I want Steve Coppell or Phil Brown, not the rest of the crap you lot mentioned ..has retired from football, and doesn't have the passion and drive required anyway. Phil Brown reminds me of a chimp...
Stevosevic Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Pardew's not a bad shout... He's gone down the same route as Dowie, started off brilliantly in his career but failed at Charlton and sacked at Southampton.
1964FOX Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I am now begining to believe this is just another rumour.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Please please let this be true and get our magic man back MON :scarf:
