shailen Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 Hes had a few bad games and people talk about selling him FFS! Hobbs is premiership quality, and he is only 21/22 so still young. We all know how good he was last season, and he hasnt lost that quality,it is just a loss of confidence! He will be back and had a good game today!
red fox Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 Hobbs is way too good for Hull, can't really see him wanting to go there and i can't see Leicester selling one of there star players to a rival team.
Ozwin Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 He's said on numerous occasions he wants to become a legend here.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 Form is temporary, class is permanent. Hobbs will come good. Nuff Sed
Leicester_Loyal Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 He's said on numerous occasions he wants to become a legend here. He has already started that process in my opinion.
ScouseFox Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 On his way back to the real Jack Hobbs today.
FantasticFox Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 Every player goes through rough patches in their career, no way should Hobbs be sold or even considered to be. He is a quality player and with being so young too, he will develop more and become a great player. Im sure that he needs someone who can take the lead a bit more, till he finds his feet and when the time comes he will become a leader and become even better.
Babylon Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 On his way back to the real Jack Hobbs today. Looked very uncomfortable though when asked to clear on his left foot. Put Cunningham in trouble quite a few times with bad balls, plus a few other poor clearances on that foot.
whitlock Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Looked very uncomfortable though when asked to clear on his left foot. Put Cunningham in trouble quite a few times with bad balls, plus a few other poor clearances on that foot. Bit picky, if thats the only negatives from the game then he must of put in a good shift. I thought him and Davies looked solid yesterday.
Webbo Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I doubt that there are many defenders in this division that are 2 footed.
Thracian Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I doubt that there are many defenders in this division that are 2 footed. I think I'll stick to my own counting if you don't mind!
Corky Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I hope he stays, Davies and Vitor are better defenders but Hobbs is a worthwhile back-up to those. He does look uncomfortable on his left side so hopefully he can work on that in training to improve.
ScouseFox Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Looked very uncomfortable though when asked to clear on his left foot. Put Cunningham in trouble quite a few times with bad balls, plus a few other poor clearances on that foot. He's always been uncomfortable when asked to play with his left foot under any type of pressure. I was talking about defensively, he won alot in the air and not much got past him or Davies
orangecity23 Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 If (as is highly likely) we lose Davies in January, we will need Hobbs to play on the right side of central defence, with Vitor or Tunchev (fingers crossed) playing on the left side. Selling him now, especially to bloody Hull, would be stupid.
sdb Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Fryatt to Hull a possibility according to Stringer
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Fryatt to Hull a possibility according to Stringer Honestly wouldn't mind him going. Hes been a good striker, but if were going for "Prem quality" he has to go.

Why do you regard Davies`s departure as "Highly likely" he`s 4th or 5th choice at Villa, would have thought at least a loan extension would be possible ?
orangecity23 Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Because he's worth a few bob, and now he's played a few games and demonstrated some decent form some other Prem club will probably be willing to splash out the cash to sign him.
shiv Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Why do you regard Davies`s departure as "Highly likely" he`s 4th or 5th choice at Villa, would have thought at least a loan extension would be possible ? They did buy him for like £8.5M and his wages would be pretty high.
Jimmy Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Why do you regard Davies`s departure as "Highly likely" he`s 4th or 5th choice at Villa, would have thought at least a loan extension would be possible ? because if Villa don't want him there are at least 10 other prem sides that would, just because we have money doesn't mean they are going to spend it stupidly, we ain't Man City
