ian_marshall Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Couldn't make it to the game today, and don't have access to RL. What's he done now?!?
MC Prussian Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 He's been playing solid in the past few games, but today, he's had (yet) another shocker. Memories of Derby away last season spring to mind.
Matt Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Was great last season, but is raising many questions this season, and with Sven at the helm, rumours of money, it may be harsh but he can be replaced, and think he should on current form, harsh it's probably just a case of lack in confidence, dropping him isn't going to help that but when its costing us games (Not his fault today, we couldn't hit a barn door by the sounds of things) and we are conceading many we're in no position to feel sorry for individuals.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Has been good in some games then looked dodgy, maybe bringing Kirkland in would be a good move.
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 He was so solid last season apart from that one error at Derby. WTF has happened this season? I could ask that about quite a few players actually
paddy Agyemang Posted 20 November 2010 Author Posted 20 November 2010 he was lobbed from distance and complete dick head just bring in chris kirkland dispite injury prone
ian_marshall Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 he was lobbed from distance and complete dick head just bring in chris kirkland dispite injury prone Thanks for this. Think it's been coming for a few weeks now and he's been extremely lucky recently.
foxeslad1985 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 what a howler by weale he does just as kirkland comes in i think weale will be gone in jan and most of the 11 today
Corky Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I like Weale but he hasn't looked the same this season. Had his share of good and poor games.
Edmund Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 His confidence is shot and rightly so. Bringing in keepers on trial and being heavily linked with Kirkland isn't going to be of any help. The quicker we get our own players in and the transfer window is shut (including the mockery of this emergency loan window) the better. We just need a bit of stability.
kimmy619 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Weale should be shot for that massive f**k up. He is still far better than Logan.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 what a howler by weale he does just as kirkland comes in i think weale will be gone in jan and most of the 11 today Post of the Day!
davieG Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I haven't seen it like most on here and as bad as it may have been it wasn't a game changing event unlike the missed penalty
Edmund Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Also the Bristol players know his weak point, which is dealing with long rangers. 2 or was it 3 long rangers at the Walkers last time they visited, can't be coincidental.

There was one long ranger and a solo goal in that game, but I agree, they obviously knew his weakness of dealing with long rangers. We had looked more assured at the back, so not sure what happened today. But we'll probably go and beat Forest, Weale will play a blinder and everyone will rate him again.

Oh right I vaguely remember now. Personally I've always rated Weale. Keepers making mistakes is nothing new, just a few weeks a go the legend that is Van Der Sar made a howler.
Webbo Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I never really understood why people were raving about him last season. He's not brilliant and he's not crap either. He's an okay keeper, he'll make mistakes like everybody else.
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I made the point last season that he is not a number one goalkeeper and near enough everyone on here slated me time after time. He is a back up goalkeeper at best. Some of the goals he has conceded have been aweful - today, Derby, West Brom (twice) etc
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 People need to take a reality check. It didn't cost us the game did it?? He messed up with the throw and the resulting lob was jammy/class and was unlucky on Weale. Maybe had our strikers/midfielders finished their chances we wouldn't be having this debate. Its scapegoating all over. Get off his back FFS.
