MC Prussian Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Useless away from home. That was pathetic. Gifted Watford with two early goals, Weale with another shocker (made up for it in the end, though), no goal from open play, no goal from a corner (and we had another roughly ten of them), poor defending, players not being present. We've got one of the worst away records in the league and this away record will be decisive comes the end of the campaign. With the form we're on, we're not going to make the playoffs, but linger on in mid-table mediocrity. This inconsistency is too much to bear. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!! At least another 2'000 made themselves heard. Well done to all of you!
ScouseFox Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 8 corners each, they scored from 2, we're still waiting for a goal from one this season. Need this to be sorted out, and the occasional goal from open play and then we can dream about play offs etc.
filbertway Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 As somebody that watched Jeff and the boys today, I can definately say that is the worst performance I've seen us put in. Didn't deserve to come back like that and Watford got the win they deserved. It's also annoying that we're scoring from set pieces, but not corners. What a joke. In other news, big George Elokobi smashed the angle with a volley today.
Callabinho Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Pathetic performance, Forward line is crap, Defence is inconsistent, have a chance to jump up to ninth but don't take it. we are not good enough to challenge for a play off place. Needs sorting heavy investment in january.
Bugg Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Can't wait to see the over optimistic people earlier turn into the over pessimistic people after this result.
orangecity23 Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Bit similar to the match against these fookers last year. No N'Guesson final equalizer this time though.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Not good enough away. Mid-table at best if we don't improve our travel sickness. Commendable effort to level it up from 2-0 down but against a team with zero confidence like Watford we shouldn't have gone two behind, Watford's winner was the team's fault for having put themselves in that position. A lot of work to be done yet methinks.
BoneDog Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Do we look threatening going forward though? I wouldn't say so. Our strike force really is abysmal. Can't score for shit. We're creating more chances than I've seen for years to no avail.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Deflating beyond belief. Why Lloyd Dyer doesn't seem to get a crack I don't know. We NEED a permanent 'keeper in January, as well as a couple of strikers that can actually score. It's becoming beyond a joke now just how useless our frontline are. Ironing out this inconsistency will be Sven's biggest challenge. The squad is capable of decent things.
phildw Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 First win in 8 for Watford! Great you can always rely on Leicester to let teams off the hook! Good job were not playing Ipswich next!!
Wymsey Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Answer up front Fryatt and Howard. Bednar average.
Finnegan Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Answer up front Fryatt and Howard. Bednar average. You are a complete wand.
SMX11 Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 I am so fooking pissed off with this good performance shit performance trend. Watford are a decent team but you cannot make the mistakes we made today and get any points. Abysmal.
orangecity23 Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Are best finisher wasn't even on the BENCH!!! Because he was starting and captain. KING. I do like a bit of Fryatt, but he hasn't looked fully fit in his last few run outs.
LCFCkid Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Because he was starting and captain. KING. I do like a bit of Fryatt, but he hasn't looked fully fit in his last few run outs. He needs match practice! Fryatt needs confidence so y not give him time to get a goal nd not just 10 minutes
Jackirius Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Waghorn, Bednar, Gallagher, Vassell, Fryatt, Howard,. You would think we would have someone which could score consistently.
mikeyp135 Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 I am fed up with our away form. It's crap. We will never get promoted this season, lets face it. We need some good consistant players brought in. I have had enough
ScouseFox Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Also quite baffled at the absence of Dyer from the starting line up, and not even getting on whilst 2 down was strange, especially seen as Darius didn't seem involved at all. Ahh well, onwards and upwards, looks like we'll be relying on home form to do anything of note this season.
