buzzy Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 to all the howard haters. do most of you go to any of the games because every home game i have been to he always gets a good responce by the crowd where i sit. if some of you who slag him off get your arses of your settees and get yourselfs down to the walkers.

Jimmy Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 no one slates him people just say it how it is, his legs are gone and he's nothing more then an impact sub now days
Haydos Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 He's the best striker we have, I wish people would start to recognize his ability before he end up like Fryatt.
Fox92 Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 He lays the ball off but then he's never in the area when the cross comes in because his legs have gone.
J.Lisemore Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 His legs have gone now. I like him, but he needs replacing with a younger version.
cc_star Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Howard offers us a different option from the quicker & more mobile Yakubu, Vassell & Waghorn, unfortunately his lack of mobility along with his age has caught up with him and he looks to be able to offer us very little now. If we're under a lot of pressure and have to drop deeper as a team he offered us an option from the bench to play the ball longer... I don't think he does now, and should be replaced
RizLCFC Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Agree he needs to be replaced. He's like a Defensive Midfielder in strike always laying the ball off but never in the box to attack. His headers and shots are either wide or over and ususally end up in row Z. I wouldn't question his self-belief or committment but that's all mental skills, physically he's gone!
muzzy1981 Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 He's the best striker we have, I wish people would start to recognize his ability before he end up like Fryatt. Are you on drugs!!??
Lesta Legend Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Are you on drugs!!?? Ever heard of sarcasm?

themotivator Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 howards past efforts have obviously been important to city over the last few years. it means people still rate him and cheer him on. sad fact is, he's been pretty ssssssshiiiiiiiiyte this season. i've only been to about 8 games this season, so maybe you might think i'm talking shit. never enjoy seeing him warm up these days.
lcfcsnow Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 He can't even hit the target in the warm up. Useful in League 1, useless for 3 seasons in the championship. Tarah Steve.
Walshie is God Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 With regards to Mr Howard, I think its time to say thanks for your efforts but goodbye! He has served his purpose but as with every footballer he is now surplus to requirements from what I can see. I think its fair to say that he was great in the promotion season along Fryatt but under the new regime he just doesnt fit in. The same said for Oakley too, although at least Howard never applauded all 4 sides of Prode Park last season!
dbtcity Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 I think he should be offered a player/coach role just to ween him out of the team, I think he could be a decent replacement for Chrissy powell
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 We need to replace him with a more Arabic version.
ibbosuk Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 He's the best striker we have, I wish people would start to recognize his ability before he end up like Fryatt. You silly HAYDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
zynxus Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 he doesnt score goals... bamba has scored 2 goals in the league in 2 games and he is a defender! Compare our 'star' striker howard to that... he doesnt come close

The toy's in your cupboard, should we offer them a coaching roll because you carn't bare to part with them ? The longer you hang onto them the harder it will be for you. Give them up! you know it must be done, they are tatty, dog eared and worn out (they probably smell) above all you don't get any joy from them any more and they serve no purpose. Admittedly still nice to look at and they do evoke memories of days gone by. But............................

He was aweful the season we got relegated, played very well in League 1 (couldn't most strikers). Hit and miss last season played well in the playoffs. Has done nothing this season. Foxoffderby self confessed Howard hater and season ticket holder. ps I dont like Oakley either or any other Derby rejects we've ever signed thanks
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 The fans love him. A bit of a modern day hero, scored some vital goals. Everyone respects him and what he's done for the club over the last few years but his best days are now behind him and its frustrating to see him get the nod ahead of the likes of Waghorn.
Fox You Forest Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Keep him, you never know when you're going to need a non scoring striker who can flick the ball on to absolutely nobody and wave his arms about like a loon. Does Oakley need a partner for his wine business?
