Fox You Forest Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 First chance to get down there for a while this weekend and they're away at Biddulph, gutted.
Finnegan Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 genuinely get a bit pissed off if Hibs lose. So just about every weekend this season.
cc_star Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Many, many years ago I used to go and see Notts County play when Leicester were playing away and somewhere I couldn't easily get to on public transport. they had a useful side at the time and were playing good football, I think it was early 90's. a year or so later I got a car and followed Leicester away everywhere
Jordan Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Technically speaking, Leicester are my second team as I've got to rank what The Guardian calls "The New York Crass Energy Drink Advertising Gimmick" as my "local" and top team. But since MLS plays through the summer and LCFC play through the winter, there's plenty of time during the year (now, for example) when Leicester are somewhat promoted to be my first-choice team. I don't make it a point to follow any other team in particular.
FuriousFox46 Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Dagenham & Redbridge - Their the Cinderella story of League One and Real Madrid, need to get some glory from somewhere but I'm sure once Sven gets the ball well and truly rolling they'll fade in to obscurity.
lcfc_jme Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Calling me ridiculous was on your part harsh in my opinion and now you refuse to back down. Is that because your post count is so much higher than mine? Therefore you feel you cannot be publicly seen to back down to a member with such a little post count? My post count is low therefore my opinion is therefore insignificant and you can jump on my back and earn brownie points off other posters for belittling me? Your a dickhead my friend. Your post count is irrelevant as to whether you have a valid opinion or make a retarded statement. End of. Now I've finished stroking my e-penis and searching for extra brownie points, I'll admit to being pretty fond of the idea of Swansea or Cardiff being in the Premier League, so I guess it doesn't pain me to see them doing well again this season.
Zingari Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Sparta Prague dunno why really , i supose it's just because they sound really macho
Mickey O'Neil Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Celtic, also love to see St. Pauli do well.

Jimothy Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 On the whole Arsenal non-Englishness topic, I can't be arsed to go through all the post on it and answer all the points. But whoever said Gill and Morrison for Man Utd. When have the ever been near the first team? In fact I've never even heard of Morrison, and I've only heard of Gill because he's David Gill's lad. You mention these yet you fail to mention Eastmond, Emmanual-Thomas, Cruise, Lansbury, Watt and Frimpong (Ghanaian born, but represented England at youth level.) who have all played first team football for Arsenal in the last season or two, a couple have even made Premier League appearances. And as has been pointed out, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd only generally play 3 or 4 English players at most per game. Also it's funny how people jump on the pick on Arsenal bandwagon, it's not just a big four thing, has anyone looked at the Blackburn squad? Paul Robinson and David Dunn are the only English players who start regularly, and they only really have Mark Bunn and Phil Jones on the fringes, but nobody lays into them. It's funny how a Nasri, a Fabregas, and a van Persie can get people hot under the collar about foreign players, but nobody think twice when Roberts, Nelsen, Emerton and Andrews trot out. They're still not English you know, no matter how English they sound. I bet nobody would be outraged by a team of Given, Carr, Dunne, Nelsen, Bale, Dempsey, Andrews, Davies, Giggs, Roberts, Bellamy, but non of them are English, yet everyone would go mental about a team of van der Sar, Sagna, Skrtel, Ivanovic, Evra, Nasri, Petrov, Meireles, Gutierrez, Berbatov, Torres. Funny must be all those scary foreign names. And do people think Wenger sign foreigners because he's racist or want England to do badly? No, he does it because Arsenal have a business model that means they won't splash tens of millions on a players just because he's English. Why fork out £25m on Gary Cahill when you can sign Thomas Vermaelen for £10m?

BoneDog Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Burton Albion Stoke Alloa East Fife Celtic And out of the 'big four' it's been Arsenal for the past few years.
Finnegan Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Looking at Arsenal's current youth crop, Wenger's currently set to do more for British football in the next ten years than any other manager.
jonthefox Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Barcelona. Based purely on a visit to the nou camp a few years back.

Tommeh Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Not a massive fan of the term "2nd team" but Dad goes everywhere with Lincoln and I used to a bit so love to see them succeed and go with him when I can. A lot of mates are Wednesday so have alot of time for the Owls also.

Austin Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Barcelona. Based purely on a visit to the nou camp a few years back. I second that, saw them play Shaktar donetsk in the Champs league when Ronaldinho was the man! Was a great night out
