Webbo Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 lol It is the England and Wales cricket board you know?
Finnegan Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 It is the England and Wales cricket board you know? Giveashit.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 It is the England and Wales cricket board you know? England, Wales and South African Cricket board I actually got really excited for the Irish the celebrations were brilliant. You wouldn't of even thought South Africa or India could of come back from 5-111 chasing down over 300
purpleronnie Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Wouldn't be so bad if it was a one off but it's been happening for years now, they have all these computers and techies around the team supposedly recording every delivery, so why are they not learning, EXACTLY. It makes no sense at all.
Fosse Boy Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 You don't need half the ECB budget blowing on technology to know you shouldn't be bowling half-trackers constantly. A clout round the ear and a big yell of "PITCHIRRUP!" from your skipper should do the trick. Criminal how often our Test bowlers are guilty of it.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Just read in the media that they believe it is Englands biggest upset since "USA v England in 1950 Football World Cup: The stats tell us England had 20 shots to just one from the US, but that one was enough to give the no-names a 1-0 victory that helped send England crashing out of the tournament held in Rio de Janiero"
StanSP Posted 3 March 2011 Author Posted 3 March 2011 I just watched the highlights and I know Kevin O'Brien played a blinder, but actually watching the innings he played makes it so much better. Yeah he had a few slices of luck (thanks to some shambolic fielding!) but that was more than overcome with some of the maximums he got. He hit some huge sixes! I was really surprised at how many mis-fields and dropped catches England made though

StanSP Posted 3 March 2011 Author Posted 3 March 2011 I take it you don't watch England play much in ODI'S It's entertaining. Maybe I should from now on !
Jackirius Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Canada opening with a 16 and 19 year old. Great effort from them in the field.
StanSP Posted 3 March 2011 Author Posted 3 March 2011 I know England have a few players who aren't really English, but they've got nothing on Canada: Kumar, Gunasekera, Surkari, Bagai (C/W), Hansra, Cheema, Gordon, Chauhan, Baidwan, Osinde, Rao That's their squad for today with a lot of Canadian names
StanSP Posted 3 March 2011 Author Posted 3 March 2011 SA thrashed Netherlands earlier on in the day. The latter team only managing a measly 120 in response to SA's huge 351-5. In the other match, currently in play. Pakistan reached a very low total, 184. They're lucky Canada aren't much better with the bat either. They're 130-8 with around 12 overs remaining. Shahid Afridi has got 5 wickets for 22 off his 9 overs.
StanSP Posted 3 March 2011 Author Posted 3 March 2011 Pakistan win by 46 runs in the end but I'm sure they would have wanted a more comfortable win.
Fox You Forest Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Afridi is on fire with the ball, they'll have to think about changing his nickname to bowl-bowl.
StanSP Posted 4 March 2011 Author Posted 4 March 2011 Two more thrashings today. Bangladesh and Zimbabw were the recipients of them by West Indies and New Zealand respectively. Nowhere near as exciting as a few matches we've had already . Sri Lanka vs Australia tomorrow!
StanSP Posted 4 March 2011 Author Posted 4 March 2011 If Chris Gayle's tweets are anything to go by, the West Indies coach is being/has been stoned by Bangladeshi fans and there's a lot of smashed glass.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Bangladesh humiliated. Very surprising. Yeah but they are a test playing nation and the windies are only just ahead of them in the rankings. The way they lost was just plain embarressing.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 tearing SA apart now, tight game. stream if anyone wants it: http://webcric.com/live-cricket-streaming.htm
FoxyPV Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 SA are trying to throw this away. Ireland recover well from losing two early wickets to get to 122 before losing two three more quick wickets <_< 147-5
