Trying to smack the ball out of the ground with one wicket left needing just 10 or so runs was sheer stupidity. I'll take it though

We only had 4 overs to spare, and good job Yuvraj did the business with bat and ball really. Pakistan top Group A with 6 points, 1 ahead of Sri Lanka who have played a game extra. Group B has India at the top, joint with England on 5 points. However, as mentioned earlier, England have played a game extra.

StanSP Posted 7 March 2011 Author Posted 7 March 2011 Canada beat Kenya easily today, reaching the target of 199 with 5 wickets to spare and just under 5 overs to spare. Bad news for England though. Pietersen's out for the rest of the tournament with a hernia injury. Eion Morgan takes his place.
