I love a good surfing goal celebration me :D

Vassell was much more direct today which made his performance better, he needs to be more direct every game

Great job Alex, you should take it up professionally, ;)

Actually, I nicked it off somebody else on YouTube.ph34r.gif

I wish I had taken out my own phone at that point.

Yuki was completely immense. One of his best performances for the club.

The referee had a complete 'mare. He gave us absolutely nothing all game. Their centre-forwards must have given away 7 fouls each and neither got booked.

i know what you're saying about the ref, but weve had two decisions go with us today. ruling out their goal and overturning their penalty decision

7 trains, 2 buses, 8 hours of travelling, 3 goals, 3 points.

Great day.

Yuki and Vitor were on another level today. Everyone played well, but they were superb, not only Vitor's two goals either. Credit to gallagher, 3 assists and his second was a delightful ball and Vitor couldn't miss. The ref wasn't the best as per, although he got the two biggest decisions right, that handball was ridiculous.

We should be beating Scunthorpe, but we did so comfortably and other results helped us out. Let's get another run going and you just never know...

In which case you should take up nicking stuff, you have an eye for quality.

Back from the game.

Firstly a good win. I was one of the pessimists saying we've blown it. I still think we have, but you never know, we still need to keep winning, so an important 3 points.

Ricardo played well today. Looked solid at the back I thought. Midfield dominated inparticular Abe, Wellens and Gally. Yakubu was his usual lazy self.

Seemed a weird day today though, not sure if we were lucky (haven't seen highlights) about both their dissallowed goal & penalty shout or they were geniuine. Must admit I did think the goal was handball.

Also another top performance by Naughton who possibly doesn't get the credit he deserves, been class all season, definitly need to sign him.

Didn't think our our support was all that vocally ? Good celebrations after the goals though. Andy Hughes should be ashamed of himself. Overreaction.

I thought the police did very well, organising the buses to get fans to the station without bother.

Meant I got home an hour earlier than scheduled too.

Fair play, refreshing honestly and all that, not all doom and gloom. It was fair to say we'd blown it a bit but too many blew it out of proportion and got quite holier than thou about it. I appreciate that it is not one extreme or the other for you and you can still hold a little hope, I'm in the same boat.

Still an outside shot at playoffs but I won't be putting money on it. :scarf:

City did well yesterday. Professional would be the best way to describe it.

Yuki looked like he had got his energy back, Vitor was awesome.

Would like to say a special mention for scunny nice club, well run and organised.

Kyle Naughton + Martyn Waghorn's swimming/surfing celebration was a mickey-take of fitness coach Chris Short who randomly did it in training.

From Stringer's Twitter.

Rumours on Facebook say its mickey-take of the Japanese Tsunami disaster. Truly this isn't the case................ :frusty:

Deserved to win yesterday, but there are improvemnts that need to be made.

The defence looked generally better yesterday, though we were playing a poor team. However, defending set pieces was very poor. We saw it vs Norwich, and how Scunthorpe didnt score I dont know, they had two or three free headers. One off the line, and others over the bar, in the air was their only threat really, but this does need looking at.

Wellens was better which is good news, though King had a quiet game, but then he does every now and then.

Yakubu didnt offer much, I'd rather see Vassell in the central role, you at least get the feeling he is trying hard and battling.

Good win, but hardly puts us back on track, as we were a bit lucky sometimes.

People look far, far too deeply into things that aren't there.

Or put two and two together and end up with 26.

God your depressing! Of course it puts us back on track! Its a convincing win where a couple of top teams had lost recently! Had to dig in and show some fight which has been seriously lacking this season!

Be positive for fook sake!

Those people that think that want their heads checking then. Idiots.

It was a win against a very poor team who wew always seem to do well against.

If we had given a top team the chances we gave Scunthorpe we would have lost.

If we beat Portsmouth and Middlesborough then we can be really positive.
