There's only one Izzet Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Fixture: - Saturday, 16 April 2011 Npower Championship Reading v Leicester 1-2 Optimistic i know, but i couldn't go against us. You have to admit, it's possible for us to get this result. However, we are so unpredictable! Fingers crossed!
Jiggers the Fox Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 As optimistic as i'd like to be, i just think it reeks of a loss. Their perfectly timed run, along with our apparant more lack of form (especially down south apparantly!) points to only one outcome. Stranger things have happened though, and to be fair its the kind of game we go and play like heroes and surprise everybody!
Aeropars Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 2 - 0 loss finally putting to bed any hopes of this years play-offs.
ScouseFox Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 I always get it wrong, so I've gone loss. 3-1, Gallagher with nothing more than a consolation.
StanSP Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 4-4 draw. 2 own goals. 3 red cards. 1 bad injury. A couple of howlers from goalies. And a couple of long-rangers (from both sides!). That or a dire 0-0.
SMX11 Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 We HAVE to score first. 2-1 to us if that is the case, if not 2-0 to them.
Wymsey Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Don't think there will be many goals in it despite two attacking minded teams. 1-1
There's only one Izzet Posted 14 April 2011 Author Posted 14 April 2011 After reading your replies it seems that we have nothing to lose really. If we don't win then our hopes of reaching the play off's pretty much die, so we'll probably go and attack from the off and when we do attack not many teams can cope with us (if we manage to finish our attacks off!). Come on city!
lcfcadam Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 2-0 to Reading. One early, one late. It's pretty much a dead cert...
themotivator Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 reading have been the form team in the championship of late. don't forget though that it is READING and they are in the CHAMPIONSHIP so it doesn't really mean shit. ...could go either way. i reckon we will be more hungry for it though especially after tuesday nights let down.
Libertine Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 They've won their last seven. Has to come to an end soon. But I still think we'll lose.
Stadt Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 reading have been the form team in the championship of late. don't forget though that it is READING and they are in the CHAMPIONSHIP so it doesn't really mean shit. ...could go either way. i reckon we will be more hungry for it though especially after tuesday nights let down. ARE YOU JJSTOWELL?
Howard9 Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Lose 3-0 i think this will be the match that ends our season as far as the play offs are concerned Long x2 kebe
acooling08 Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Reading have won 7 in a row. We have been very poor recently (except Burnely) so a loss is on the cards. However if we play like we did on Saturday then a win might just be possible. Doubt it though.
There's only one Izzet Posted 14 April 2011 Author Posted 14 April 2011 7 straight wins means that a loss is looming! We have only really played well against Burnley of late, this was because they didn't sit behind the ball and they tried to play good football. Hopefully Reading (being at home) will come at us allowing us to play them out the game. This could be our chance to make a real statement and intimidate Forest!
Matt Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 City 1 - 3 Reading. Season Over. (Its wrong but I kind of want us to lose so our season is over and we can forget about it, I'm just sick of taking one step forward just to fuck up the following game when we could take advantage and 'almost be there', Lets either make the most of our chances and really go for it or just end the season now and plan for next season. That said I hope we do win, and we win the next 4 following games, I want us to win, I want us to do well, obviously, but getting very tired and frustrated at our inability to take chances when they are presented on a plate to make up points over teams around us and could overtake them.)
Ashley Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Reading will run this game on Saturday, chance after chance however we will nick a 1-0 win like when Waghorn scored with the flick on header at the front post. Yakubu to get the goal for me.
