hbkkids Posted 20 April 2011 Author Posted 20 April 2011 i am shocked to see how many people think forest will beat us, the last 2 times we have played them we have won with no trouble at all, 1-0 and 3-0, yes them games were at home but i think we can do it, both teams are on a low and after friday if we win we will be really confident to improve for the last games.

Merging Cultures Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 I did!! We've not won there in the league since when?? We've not done the double over them and Derby in the same season since when?? Our confidence has gone, and the team is not performing. Is it down to Sven? I dont think so. I think Mandric left the club in a poor position, weakened by not having a stable management team and as we saw from the financial analysis posted on here a few weeks ago, he didnt leave it in a good financial position either. We've had to rely on loan players to improve the squad, this is because of the poor financial position, and that has led to a weaker side than if they were fully employed by LCFC. That is not Sven's fault, he has tried to boost the team by bringing them in, and hasn't been given the finances many expected were going to be available. I am not a huge Sven fan, I do trust he is trying to make the right decision for the team, I just think we've lost the edge as it is the back end of the season, loanees are thinking about not getting injured so they can play at their home clubs and everyone has gone on holiday mentally. /rant for fooks sake... this poll is very negative! I voted for a loss NOT because I want us to lose, but because I think we will. I know our record there in the league and I saw a much better defensive unit take an absolute raping there last season. Living in Nottingham and interacting with Forest fans on an almost daily basis means that it's better for me to fear the worst and hopefully be pleasantly suprised than guarantee a win and - like last year - look an absolute tart. Still, if you'd be happy with a loss against our biggest rivals, then fair enough. I just think you're crazy.
