Bert Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Nothing happens over the weekends, especially when the key people are flying back from tour. By Friday, I think this story will be over one way or another.
Jobyfox Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 "By Friday, I think this story will be over one way or another. " Hurrah to that!
Fox 4 Life Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Nothing happens over the weekends, especially when the key people are flying back from tour. By Friday, I think this story will be over one way or another. Fits in with what the BCFC chairman wants too; bean_headAdam Baker Chairman Colin: Maynard situation is ongoing, determined to keep him but have to be patient. Want to conclude something before August. This week should be the end of the drama!!

So the only way we get him is making a real stupid offer 6 or 7 mill. Yak wont drop his wage demands and we wont pay it. fans dont want Heskey ( n not really the answer to goals anyway) Sven says he has other option's Bert so have you got any idea's as to who they might be?????? In Bert we trust Liam you got any info on that either
Liamlcfc1 Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 On a plus not to do with Maynard Tunch will be offerd a new contract by the looks of it .
Guest ttfn Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 fans dont want Heskey ( n not really the answer to goals anyway) Hello. I am a fan, and I want Heskey.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 On a plus not to do with Maynard Tunch will be offerd a new contract by the looks of it . YES.
wellyfox Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Hello. I am a fan, and I want Heskey. Ok sorry a lot don't. I do to but as i said not really gonna be the answer to the goals we need.
morris1234 Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 i wonder if the reason maynard hasn't requested a move is because of these 'massive loyalty bonuses' we keep hearing about?? just a thought, either way i just really want the lad to choose!!
cc_star Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 After reading Bean_Head's tweets, they certainly seemed to have softened their stance, that is the first (almost) admission of him leaving. I will say they've played their hand strongly but its a shame we couldn't have nabbed him sooner so he could have had more game time... assuming something does happen of course
Raw Dykes Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Ok sorry a lot don't. I do to but as i said not really gonna be the answer to the goals we need. Well I for one would love to see Heskey back here, and although he's never been a goal machine himself, I'm sure having him in the side would make it much easier for Nugent, Vassell, Gallagher and the like to score more goals. Great news about Tunch, btw.
Bert Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Maybe Maynard is not one to push through a move? He might just be waiting for permission, rather than him make them give us permission. Tunch needs to get through Madrid game.
Jobyfox Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Thirded! Not bothered either way, but just wanted to join in.
RyanB89 Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 I want heskey, not because i think hes good .... just because.
Itsthejoeker Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 Maybe NM has a a sell on clause that he will break if he asks to leave?
Zingari Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 I've just finished my "Maynard is a Reynard " embroidered quilt match-day cushion so he'd better sign for us now !!
skinnydipper Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 I hope it's soft enough for the new Mrs Z to sit on .
Hack Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 A move to Fulham (or any PL club) will get BCFC off the hook and save face with their fans. Their board must be desparate for it to happen and will hopefully have learnt not to shoot from the hip in future transfer dealings. Question is....will a low status PL club match our offer BCFC have an open day today and won't want their boat rocked until its over. Will be interesting to see if Maynard is one of the players on show. Theymay not have to match our offer. He will put in a transfer request quicker than you could imagine if Fulham make at least a decent offer. They will have to sell. This is why they should've taken our offer earlier. He is going now it is just a matter of to who, a fulham type of premier league club or us.
Hack Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 I doubt a premier league would want take the gamble to be honest, thanks to his unfortunate injuries. However there could be something in this, Fulham are desperate for strikers but he will replace kamara not Zamora... replacing Kamara and or Andy Johnson, take your pick.

On the other hand maybe they feel that selling for 500k less to a prem club is a better deal as opposed to selling to a direct competitor
Carlos9 Posted 25 July 2011 Posted 25 July 2011 On the other hand maybe they feel that selling for 500k less to a prem club is a better deal as opposed to selling to a direct competitor We aren't going to be in the same battle as them this season. I don't see what there problem is! Maynard or no Maynard, we will still be firm favorites to beat them!
