Not quite mindless. Rumours have been flying around all night, which is a stark contrast to the relative death of the saga of late. It may be nothing but I wouldn't be surprised if something has changed tonight. 'No smoke without fire' etc.

Either way, I'll stick to mindless speculation and you can get on with enjoying anime porn.

Rumors have been flying around for about a month now not just tonight ! Maybe this is the day when it does happen but i'll believe it when it's up on the official website.

There is a difference between the rumours over the past month and the rumours tonight. Over the past month bids have been submitted and rejected, sparking speculation on further bids and the rest attatched to the saga. The reason tonight's upsurge in rumours excites me more than what we've come across previously is because it has come from nowhere. We've not heard any rumours for a good few days now. According to Bert our bid was submitted and we have all been in the dark about any response. There could have been rumours since then, but there haven't been. Tonight we're hearing from several corners that movement is being made. As with any other rumour, this could be nothing, but I'm hopeful that what we're hearing is a result of a decision at Bristol's end.

I hope you're right I really do, but what has been different tonight? I've not seen anything official still and all i'm seeing is the odd tweet and post from some people i've not heard of. To be fair I think the LcfcInfoman who tweated "Or could it be Maynard that finally signs? ;)" is usually accurate and has come up with some good stuff before so I think this thread after pages and pages does have some worthy new info which could mean it's back on!!

I wouldn't get too excited though <_<

It's just the sudden surge that excites me. Instead of fragmented rumours we've seen a surge. My take on that is that it suggests something's happened that has instantly triggered a spout of rumours. The difference being that rumours before today have been dotted around randomly. They could have come from anywhere and served any agenda. Rightly or wrongly, I get the feeling that such a surge wouldn't happen without good reason.

Ha. Take notice of me by all means, but the only source I possess is my brain which I consult regularly for gems of common sense.

Exciting week ahead for us, one or two class players will be coming through the Walkers Stadium doors.

Two players would be nice, preffably two strikers but Maynard and possibly Townsend would do nicely.

You can listen bk to radio 5 live for the whole of sunday nights programes on there official web page and there is no i say NO interview or live phone in or any Nicky Maynard interview its another rubbish rumour if you dont belive that phone the programe editor of radio 5 live who will confirm this as just a rumour and that there was no such mention of Nicky Maynard on the Sunday programe on Radio 5 Live. This rumour only came about after i posted up the facts of what i was told is happening with reguards to Nicky Maynard & him signing a new 3 year deal with Bristol City. Like it or lump it or just wait and look at Bristol City official site this Sat and all will be revealed. Yet again if you want facts about your Radio 5 Sorce phone the Radio 5 editor or listen to the sunday programe again on there main site facts are there that there is no mention of Nicky Maynard on the entire Sunday night broadcast...

Just wait and see, there is a reason why both clubs are being quiet about this. By Friday at the very latest this will be resolved one way or another.

I wonder if that all that malarky about Keane, Long and Jerome, and we are secretly working in the background getting the Maynard deal finalized , here's hoping :thumbup:
