Not quite sure what the lad is expecting to be honest and personally if he stays with Bristol he is selling himself somewhat short of his potential. Any sensible player would move to a championship side with ambition rather than stick with one that won't challenge for promotion, or a club which COULD get relegated from the Prem, or a top Prem club and sit out on the bench for a season. He needs to have a word with himself me thinks! Not really some players saty at clubs because they like it there, Le Tis springs to mind much better player then Southampton but thats nether here nore there, Whats fact is he's a bristol city player and until our vaulation is met or he's out of contract he will remain just that, As for ambition we won't be going for promotion until the new ground is built (Building starts this october) as we need the inferstruction to support our ambitions and unlike you lot we haven't got it yet, no point in running before you can walk, Anyway good luck in your campaign I'm sure you'll be in the play-off final if not the top two, if your team gels

All you are doing is providing Bristol City fans with the only little bit of excitement they are likely to get this season. Just leave them to it, and what little they have to look forward. It really does make us all look pretty frantic, sad and desperate. I do not want anyone who does not want to come. We are bigger than that. It's his loss, not ours. Time to move on.

He’s not going to put something up that will be proven wrong (if he can help it) and vice versa. However, if you end your “tweet” with a “?” and a “winky, smiley man” it covers you both ways. My theory is that LCFCInfoman has seen the earlier tenuous and unsubstantiated rumours about NM and thought he better post something. This way if they come to anything everyone will say what a reliable source he is or if they don’t; well it was only speculation anyway hence the “?” and smiley man. Unfortunately I have seen nothing to suggest that these latest rumours have any basis in fact. So, another 25 pages of speculation and pointless arguing with BCFC fans has started for nothing. I truly believe that if NM was coming to us he’d be here by now. If I was a betting man, however, I would say that BCFC will not be in the promotion frame and that his continued stay with them will be short-lived.

If nothing comes by the end of the month then I think he'll sign an extention with BCFC with a release clause if a prem team does offer x for him. I still dont believe for a second that he will sign for Leicester. Anyway, surely you tried to sign half the Real Madrid team after Saturday? Stands to reason they will all be desparate to play for Leicester City surely?

Too many times of late i've seen stories appear elsewhere, then within minutes they appear on here or twitter being passed off as "inside info" with no reference to the original source.

Monkeh BCFC Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 In all seriousness Sven probably did ask Jose if Real had any youngsters who would benefit from a year loan... we played Ajax at the gate a few years ago and Johnson asked Jol if he could have Sno (who was Ajax's best player on the night), Two weeks later he signed on loan, so you never know I wouldn't be suprised if you did take one or two from them

Adding a question mark to distance themselves from it in case it is wrong. Not wishing to be left behind in case it is right. I'm beginning to think I should just leave all this behind and follow official news sources and wait for things to be confirmed on the official site.

Personally I have never criticised anyone's information as it stands or falls on it's own merits. However, if someone posts something and adds a question mark and a wink I'm simply pointing out that it is speculation. I'm sure the person who posted it or tweeted it would agree that it is purely speculative. My experience of looking at Bert's comments is that when he doesn't know he says he doesn't know, when it's speculation he says so and when it's fact he reports it. There are good inside men and bads ones (like anything else) and also ones that just wildly speculate.

No Berlinton had genuine insider club knowledge, that was obvious to everyone, I wish the guy would come back, he was a massive plus for this site. No comparison to infoman please.
