accessory Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 We know that Everton would sell him, and we know that the club could afford it if they wanted to. Sven's seen him close up last season and for whatever reason has decided that he's not wanted. Why can't everyone accept this? THIS.
RyanB89 Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Bamba is on 3 grand per week and mills is on about 30.
topharry123 Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Bamba is on 3 grand per week and mills is on about 30. Exactly a well paid player isn't going to disrupt the squad. Every single club has high earners and low earners that play the same amount of games and achieve the same things but earn different amounts. It's part of life.

Every single club has high earners and low earners that play the same amount of games and achieve the same things but earn different amounts. It's part of life. But how would you feel if you had a colleague who worked with you, doing the exact same job as you, and him getting paid an extra 40 grand a year? Wouldn't be happy would you?
topharry123 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 But how would you feel if you had a colleague who worked with you, doing the exact same job as you, and him getting paid an extra 40 grand a year? Wouldn't be happy would you? So your saying that all footballers that play for a team should get paid the same? So should Sturridge be paid the same as Drogba because they both play for the same team, or should Pique be paid the same as Messi, or Chamberlain the same as Van Persie? No they shouldn't. The latter players, like Yakubu have worked hard and proved themselves as a top player over a number of years so deserve to get paid that bit extra than other unproven or less established players. If I were in a job and someone with a lot more experience than me at a higher firm got hired to push us towards a higher level i wouldn't be bothered at all. I might mention it when negotiating a new contract but i wouldn't let it disrupt the job i was being paid to do. Fact is if a team like Leicester wants an established player such as Yakubu then we have to pay him more than others. If we don't then we can settle for lower end players that aren't good or established enough to demand that kind of wage.

Babylon Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Bamba is on 3 grand per week and mills is on about 30. Are you his accountant?

DorsetFox9 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 if we are going to pay Millsy 30k a week, we need to even it out, Bamba, King Wellens etc need to be on similiar wages. nugent will be on 30k ish too. we may need to upgrade contracts on players that may have been happy on what they are on, if we wernt paying out high wages to others. Bamba on 3k with Millsy his partner on 30k isnt right, especially if Bamba bails him out in matches a few times. as you would expect any defensive duo to do.
John Matrix Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Are you his accountant? maybe he's bluebloods brother
bluearmyfox23 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Bamba is on 3 grand per week and mills is on about 30. Personally for me bamba deserves a pay rise this christmas tht amount of Money is a joke considering he has to give his wife 1k a month for there children !!
Simmsy Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Personally for me bamba deserves a pay rise this christmas tht amount of Money is a joke considering he has to give his wife 1k a month for there children !! Yeah, Imagine having to live off £3k a week, must be awful....
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Bamba is on 3 grand per week and mills is on about 30. so mills in on over 4k per day, and over 1.5M per annum? I highly doubt that any player at the club is anywhere near that given it was reported Sven was on 1M a year.
wakeyfox01 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Mills has been reported as on 23k a week, and where did this 3k a week fo Bamba come from FM?
Babylon Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Mills has been reported as on 23k a week, and where did this 3k a week fo Bamba come from FM? The land of make believe. The manager who is willing to pay £7m for Long, thinks Yakubu is too expensive... can people just move on.
Tielemans63 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Agreed Babylon. This ones dead in the water unfortunately so let's move on. Think a few too many bridges have been burnt here.
m00nie Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Mills has been reported as on 23k a week, and where did this 3k a week fo Bamba come from FM? there was an article in one of the papers about child maintenance and bambas ex has re took him to court for more money.. it was said bamabe was on 3k a week.. we all know papers are the most reliable source so it has to be true......
accessory Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 there was an article in one of the papers about child maintenance and bambas ex has re took him to court for more money.. it was said bamabe was on 3k a week.. we all know papers are the most reliable source so it has to be true...... Those figures were apparently quoted in open court, so there's actually likely to be some substance to them.
cambridgefox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Now Bamba must have been happy with his wages or he would not have signed his contract!
blueredswed Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Now Bamba must have been happy with his wages or he would not have signed his contract! Exacly! His time will come and then..... He is worth all he can got. And family 1k mmm good enough just now but there is a life after football perhaps 40-50 years you don´t get any money
m00nie Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Those figures were apparently quoted in open court, so there's actually likely to be some substance to them.
blueredswed Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Well he was asked about Michael Ball and Sven replied "Is it official" - had nothing to do with Yakubu I must appologize my thoughts it was the Yak. I have listening on BBC in english newspaper but when I search on Google on enlish news... Iswear I heard the Yak but Sorry!
bluearmyfox23 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 All he does is score goals !! !! But the problem is he scores to many goals and doesn't show enought passionNN !!
Bezzanator89 Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 But it's the goals that matter, yes? Scored 11 in 20, he could so easily get 25 in one season!
