Finnegan Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Kluivert, Superpippo, Totti, Rosicky, Nakata, Ronaldinho, Maldini, De Boer, Nesta, Reizeger, Flowers. Chiesa and Crespo would definitely make the bench, as would Seedorf, Morientes, Henry and Bergkamp (and Koumas.)
ScouseFox Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 And ignoring his off pitch stuff, which didn't really concern me when I admired him as a footballer when I was about 7:
Fox92 Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 My current favourite player is Steven Gerrard. He is very loyal (to stay at a club that has won nothing when wanted by the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea is sensational loyalty), very driven, hard working, good finisher, great long shots, fantastic passing, good vision, gets stuck in, strong, and fantastic tackling ability. I consider my other favourite footballer, Dennis Bergkamp, to be the greatest footballer that has ever played in the Premiership though. Another favourite footballer of mine is Richie Wellens. I do think he is my favourite Leicester player of all time, although Dickov and Izzet are also my favourites. Favourite players from previous generations are George Best and Brian Clough.
Haydos Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Criminally underplayed for England. Agree with this, ridiculous talent. England's Messi

Some of my favourites: Tøfting and Gravesen (what a duo they were), Klinsmann, Henry, Juninho Pernambucano, Giggs, Henke Larsson, Jan Heintze, Thomas Helmer, Ronald Koeman, Ludovic Giuly...
