Babylon Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 this is stupid i cannot belive sven is choosing Heskey over the Yak, Yak has 11 goals and heskey has only scored 11 in his career, yes yakubu is lazy but he scores goals, i do want heskey to return to our place of course i do but as a replacement for howard and not yak You don't have a scooby doo about who is or isn't a target, who we can / can't afford. So do you not think it's a bit presumptuous to say Sven is making some kind of mistake?

But look at it logically we didn't exactly win every game with the Yak did we?

Villa get rid of a fringe player with a year left on his contract on £50k a week for £1-2 million, and Heskey gets the chance to play first team football again for his hometown club with another good contract under his belt.

I certainly think heskey would be a good signing, just so when he gets angry he can do a wwe style walk off while headbutting the ref or whatever imuch love for the heskinator.
