Bert Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 I wonder how much he wishes he'd have stayed? Birmingham's first choice centre back (one of) is injured and he still can't get in. If he'd have stayed I think we'd be higher up than we are now.

Theres a reason he's not getting in the team, that reason is he's almost as big a liability as Bamba is for us, and they'd have played together here so a recipe for disaster.
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Quite possibly, but he was another one of the loanees who in their first 2/3 games looking a class above the rest, then faded into mediocrity. I wasn't so fussed to see him go to Brum until I saw Bruma....

Babylon Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Some people need to remember bert is also allowed an opinion. It doesn't always need to have info attached to it. I think if we hadn't lost Davies and Cunningham we may have done better. Continuity counts for a lot, but I'm drunk so who cares!!

Iwan is a Welshman Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Would've liked to have seen him stay but how he's been treated elsewhere probably confirms he's a difficult one in the changing room. Mee and Bamba are good enough anyway. We've had enough good defenders to have a solid back four it's just they weren't allowed time to gel.

Then it all went tits up again.... the defence has been bizarre this season. Good keeper and settled back four priority one
