Patrick V Aanholt - 4 - Terrible Defensively, always out of position and hardly tracked back when they were on the counter attack, Gifted them their second goal. Dont bring him back sven

Bruma - 8 - Great game, composed and effective. Always covered for PVA when he went missing.

Vitoy - 5 - Went off early, but I hope we see him again next season

Naughton - 6 - Decent game, nothing outstanding apart from our first goal I think when he went on a mazy run.

Wellens - 6 - Tidy in midfield, but didn't remember seeing too much of him.

Abe - 8 - Played brilliantly, I'm so glad he got his goal

King - 8 - Well taken goal, some really nice through balls to the Yak

Gallagher - 6 - Good in posession but he really can't take players on and hardly won a header

Vassel - 5 - Didn't see enough of him, when he was on the wings he looked isolated

Yakubu - 8 - Goal of the season!!! Did well, he actually ran a bit today which will please some people

Tunch - 7 - Hasn't lost it, still looking good, although he almost made a big mistake towards the end

Oakley - 6 - Didn't do much when he came on, didn't have enough time.

Kamara - 7 - Great footwork, tracked back nicely and played great in the middle and going forward, -1 for starting the fight unecessarily

Ah ok, I didn't know what happened with the penalty to be honest as I was sat the other side, thanks for that. I can't remember him ever giving a stray pass except at the end when he blasted it out of play, by that time I don't think anyone could be bothered.

Gallagher - 5 - I'd like to see him replaced next year. He can't run, he can't head a ball and he doesn't tackle. Great cross for King's goal though.

Yakubu - 7 - Right space, right time. Proves he is a natural goalscorer and threat.

Vassell - 6

King - 9 - My man of the match today, scored and supplied, never stopped running. Where has that form been for the past month?

Vassell - 5 - Not really enough time to do all his skills.

Yakubu - 7.5 - Had a decent game today, put himself about a bit. Lineker would be proud of his goal

Gallagher - 5 - Didn't see that much of him, good distribution when he did have the ball though.

Weale 5 - Shown he hasn't learnt from his mistake against Forest, twice parrying long shots directly into the centre of the penalty area. In fairness one of the saves following a poor parry was truly world class but he should have done a lot better in the first instance. Time for a new keeper please!

PVA 5 - Made some great forward runs as usual but seemed to be targeted by Ipswich in terms of his defensive ability. Furthermore, poor pass back that lead to Connor Wickhams goal.

Bruma 7 - Solid all round performance. Looked composed on the ball and distributed it well. Showed good strength against an experienced forward in Jason Scotland.

Vitor 7 - Same old performance, solid as ever and looked impenetrable. Shame about the injury, would really like to see him return.

Naughton 7 - Usual performance, great at the back and fantastic as ever going forward.

Abe 8 - Outstanding display topped off with his first goal for the club.

Wellens 6 - Average performance. Nothing spectacular nor poor.

King 7 - Usual anonymous performance whilst yet again popping up with a well taken goal that should silence the critics.

Gallagher 6 - Lively as ever but his first touch today really let him down.

Vassell 6 - Looked comfortable but wasn't on the pitch long enough to have any sort of impact.

Yakubu 7 - Seemed to hold the up the ball really well today using his strength to good effect. Used his scoring instinct well to get in place for an easy goal.

Kamara 8 - Good all round performance. Looked comfortable on the ball and towards the end appeared to be targeted with some hard challenges from a frustrated Ipswich midfield. Capped a good performance with a goal too.

Tunchev 8 - Given the fact that he's been out for so long this was a very good display and although he wasn't stretched too much by the Ipswich attack he never really looked like making any real errors other than one poor backpass when the whole team experienced a spell of complacency.

Oakley 6 - Wasn't really given long enough to have any effect upon the game but didn't make any mistakes when called upon.

Weale 7 - one shaky moment where he parried a shot right into the middle of his goal but redeemed himself with a good save to deny scotland on the follow up, no real chance with either goal.

PVA 6 - Got foward well and a good ball in for kamara's goal but defensively lax and at fault for their second.

Bruma - 7 - looks so much better without bamba alongside him

Vitor 7 - Fairly comfortable before going off injured

Naughton 7 - Not one of his best games by the standards he set this season but still a good performance.

Abe 9 - Here, there and everywhere - got about, won the ball back on occassions, good precision passing and a goal - good performance

Wellens 7 - Somewhat typical of the man, looking good showing a good array of passes but too slow in moving the ball.

King 8 - Good finish and played a fairly big part in yakubu and kamara's goals.

Gallagher 7 - Good deliveries from crosses and free-kicks

Vassell 6 - Looked ok but didn't last long enough to do anything of note

Yakubu 7 - showed his poachers instinct and played a good part in yuki's goal

Kamara 8 - looked more like the kamara from the burnley game, if he can play like that more often then get him in on a perm next season.

Tunchev 8 - didn't really put a foot wrong, could have made the game perfect had that 1st half volley not been saved

Gallagher 6 (So sleepy. Wanted far too much time on the ball but delivered a good cross for Kingy's goal and one or two more that might have been more fruitful)

Vassel 5 (Willing enough but inconsequential before his departure with an injury).

Yakubu 8 (Added another goal to his already notable goals per appearance ratio and linked well with King).

Were you actually at the game? Sorry but nearly all the ones i've highlighted are total rubbish.

Naughton did not cover Wickham all that well, he was able to move freely and deliver some good balls in had a few shots that was well saved by Weale.

How can you really judge Vassell on the amount of gameplay he had? You can't and he did what he normally does every game.

Yakubu lead the line perfectly, I don't know who you were watching but Yakubu was great today, he got down the wings, assisted in the middle/wings and all round scared their defense.

There was a challenge towards the end with Connor Wickham, he ran through Tunchev, but he's a massive unit, and apart from that he was good. Not many challenges, more interceptions and clearances, but, fingers crossed, he's not deteriorated too much over these painful 2 years.
