And everytime my cpu opposition attacks, they take it around the goalkeeper, pass and score. How did you get to div 2 so quick ive only just got to div 6 now shows how shit I am Just kept playing games
Finchy Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 No issues with defending for me, although the gameplay seems a bit lightweight compared to 2011. My issue is with the team selecting. I've had games where it's been the same teams playing eachother, where there have been massive kit clashes (Leicester away vs Leeds home) and club teams against international teams. Anyone else think that is rubbish? I don't see why it needed changing, people were quite good at negotiating when picking teams last year I thought. Nice to see they have sorted people quitting early though, im amazed people still do it.

I thought I was being picky thinking its annoying how its nearly impossible to play Internationals vs Internationals online.. I like the system of picking teams with the same rating but next year hopefully they make it so kits are picked automatically without clashes and clubs get picked to play clubs ect.

Finchy Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I've come to the conclusion after a few more hours playing that they have made this game worse than FIFA 11. I don't know how but the gameplay has gone back to being like FIFA 10, very annoying. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Austin Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 After a fair amount of time playing I feel i've finally mastered the tactical defending and my overall conclusion is that I love it. So much better then the old system of holding down the same button .. Personally think the game is amazing

I can imagine he'd be quite pissed off as he had a comfortable 2-0 lead thanks to away Beckford. Home Mills and Home Bamba just couldn't handle him The EA servers really do piss me off.
Ashley Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 In previous versions of fifa, I've kept the ball like Barcelona do in this FIFA I feel my self being dominated by other players because I'm still getting to grips with the defending. I hope when I get fully grips to defending I'll be able to get my possession, passing football going again Played 7, Won 4, Drew 1, Lost 2. Not a bad so far, one promotion. Nice to see Leicester at the top of the XBOX Leaderboards.

Petchy Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Those finding it hard to defend, swap the 'B' tackle with the 'RB' pressure... much easier trust me! Lost my first two online when using an attacking Man City with the original control layout. Since changing it, I haven't lost in 8 games. I feel pretty confident with the defending now, even so to play a formation ideal for counter attacking after heavy pressure
