Haydos Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Jesus H Christ i'm really struggling to defend half decent in this game! Just when i think i may have mastered it, it just goes all tits up.. I even put it back to legacy defending but that doesn't seem right either! Playing the AI is a mixed bag for me, some games i actually do see mistakes, etc (not many mind) but then other games the AI just seem unstoppable, literally unstoppable.. I haven't messed around with the sliders yet though so that might make for a more balanced consistent game offline As for online? i haven't even dared to brave it on there yet! Sliders?
Anorak Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 In a way i'm quite enjoying the random quality of opponents you get at this early stage, it can be a bit of a grind playing people the same level too often.
Fox92 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 When I play against the cpu on ultimate team (World Class), I score and then directly from kick off they dribble through my team and score. It happens constantly. Only way to prevent it is to just wipe one of the players out so they get a free kick. Just need Sven, can't find him anywhere though Are you referring to ultimate team? He isn't on it. He was last year, but he is in the Championship now which fifa do not seem to care about
Ashley Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I've played 24 games so far, all with Leicester. Played 24 Won 13 Drew 3 Lost 8 So out of a possible 72 points I've picked up 42. I'm now on two stars and in divison 7. Personally I think David Nugent is better than Beckford on the game. Shoot with him from anywhere near the box and they seem to go in. Neil Danns takes a mean freekick, scored three times with him from freekicks. Freekicks seem easier this year than last, anyone agree?

AyewJoking Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Got the game today. Its noticibly slower than 11 which suits my style of play. (keep possession til the opponent gets pissed off and leaves a gap in his defence). I'm a bit underwhelmed by it on first impressions. Hopefully I'll grow into it cos £43 is a ridiculous amount of money for a video game.

I score a heck of a lotta goals from long distance with power shots. Most of them dipping shots too. Saying this though most of them are with 86 rated Mario Gomez on Ultimate Team who is unstopable

I started very well scored with Nugent on six minutes, kept bombarding his goal with his keeper pulling off save after save. Half time I go in with the 1-0 lead. Second half the same bombarding his goal. 70 minutes gone he plays a long ball over the top I head back home with Bamba but the header falls short allowing his player to run on and score(his first shot of the game). At this point I take kick off bombard him again to no avail do I score he breaks on a counter attack then cut backs me in the 90th minute to win 2-1 Anyone played with anyone other than Leicester on here? I've not.

Yeah, if you go on your options, where you can change match length, speed, etc, etc keep pressing the button that navagates you through each section (can't quite remember the button now) and you will come across the sliders part which you can change how the AI play, etc.. Finners if you mean leagues on H2H Seasons, no disrespect but you'd probably be in division 10 from looking at your results.

I dont really care if people quit still a W for me mwhaha No I mean if they are losing 6-1 why wait until the end? Quit after the 3rd or 4th goal surely. Don't waste your time. But yeah it doesn't bother me, like you said it's a win for me it just baffles me why people still do it this year now they are certain to get a loss, not worth switching the Xbox off.
