Now that you can no longer run at attackers, just position yourself well in between the opposing player and your goal and wait for a bad pass. As soon as the other player gets too close to the box, defending gets easier. At first, I was still frustrated with the new system after having played the Demo (which I didn't particularly like), but with time you get into it.

It's great isn't it, I keep getting Rangers and Celtic when I play with them. I can beat Rangers and Celtic with Leicester for god's sake, never mind when I have Samuel Eto'o, Zhirkov, Dzsudzsak and Roberto Carlos on my team.

I'd just like to point out Smuts used them against me playing as Hibs. Drew 1 1 and I blatantly would have hammered him if O'Connor could shoot!

Like, yknow, any sensible person? What's the point in not having fun? It's a game, you just paid a lot of money for it... Oh I will, but you can't clock it down mid-season and I've decided to stick it out til the end of this one, where I'll certainly be sacked. I'm hoping at some point I will master it and turn it around but I'm going to go into each game expecting a thrashing. If I can keep us up I'll consider it an achievement

All you have to do to score online is wait for the other person to commit to a tackle and simple turn the other direction to beat them. Ridiculously easy to score, hideous to defend and not at all fun.

Ive won more than ive lost but it is pretty annoying sometimes. sometimes you can just give the ball to the striker and waltz around the defence so easily. Happens against you and for you. It just seems to easy
Petchy Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Yeah, I've won 9, drawn 3, and lost 4 so it's not like I'm losing all the time and looking to pass the blame somewhere. It's just that the matches always seem to follow the same path for me and as a result doesn't seem as fun as FIFA 11 as you actually had to try relatively hard to score, rather than just wait for your opponent to miss a tackle. God'dammit EA, should let people use the legacy defending online!
