VinceNoir Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I'd probably head down the pub with Bruno Berner.. He seems like an interesting bloke.
lcfcadam Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Matt Oakley. Part ownership of a wine company would suggest he knows his vino, so I'd allow him to ply me with good vintage plonk (complimentary of course, seen as how I'm a loyal fan...)
Madrid_Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Steve Howard in case anyone starts a bit of trouble!
MikeyT Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Gally. Think he'd be a laugh. Same. Or Yuki, providing his translator was there.
jonthefox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Same. Or Yuki, providing his translator was there. Yep. A night on the saki and sushi will ding dang do me.
VinceNoir Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 On second thought, I'd probably have more of a laugh with Gallagher than with Berner. I reckon that would end up a bit boring, and there would be an awkward silence towards the end.
ScouseFox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Bruno would talk about something far too intelligent and interesting for me after a few pints. I'd just want to be having a joke or seeing which player's missus he'd like to smash most, he seems much too intelligent and sensible for that.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Same. Or Yuki, providing his translator was there. I think Yuki without his translator would be a scream after a few beers.
docho66 Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I was racking my brains to think who would be the most suitable player, then i realise, we don't have many players we can call our own! - worrying, i think so! Oh well, i would prob say my current idol - A. King! If he couldn't make it then probs Wellens! I bet he is a good laugh after a few!
Nick Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Went to a restaurant opening earlier in the year and had a beer with Sven and Derek, then sat at the adjacent table - wasn't particularly exciting................ I'd probably pick Sol Bamba to have a beer with, I reckon he'd make me laugh a little more.
lavrentis Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Howard, when I met him he (albeit jokingly) said shall we go to the pub
KFS Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Andy King would go missing during the night Weale would drop his pint Yakubu would be surrounded by girls, cos he only scores Abe might eat my dog So, Richie Wellens.. (none of the above are my opinions, just threw the general opinions of the board in, feel free to add!)
B_Fox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Andy King would go missing during the night Weale would drop his pint Yakubu would be surrounded by girls, cos he only scores Abe might eat my dog Ricardo would probably punch everything (including you and yak's birds)
Jakemoore Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 King, he's been voted players player of the season two years running which would suggest he's a nice lad plus he's nearer my age then the majority so that would help although technically I'm too young to drink so it will have to be a coke for me unless the pubs n shops in Leicester are as bent as they are here in LDN?
Thracian Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Kingy. He sometimes uses the same golf club where I'm a member so it would be a good way to round off a game. Not sure he'd touch the alcohol though. Oakley with his knowledge of wine would be fine to make up a three-ball.
