Babylon, Peterborough were relegated that season so getting 10 goals for a relegated side is good.

Then League 1 he finished top scorer in that league, and the top scorer throughout the English Leagues.

Mackail-Smith is a very good player unlike Ched Evans, did Evans even start for Sheffield United don't think he did.

Plus Derbyshire hands up yes he is a good player, but doesn't score that often.

He has 50 goals in 170 games, 60-70% of those appearances are as a substitute and a lot are playing in the premiership. He has a decent record.

Just look at Evans and Derbyshire goalscoring records

Then that will tell you we probably won't score 20 goals.

but those two players dont play for us either?

We may sign both of those, but there are a hell of alot of other strikers that have been linked with us(more prolific also) i think you have chosen these two players to try and strengthen your argument and justify the fact that youve spat your dummy out because a player chose another team over city.

I agree, I mean Derbyshire only has 12 finishing on FM

And of course we could still sign up 5 loanees nearer season start - from Man City reserves probably.

Yes we may sign both of those.

We have more of chance than signing Evans and Derbyshire, rather than someone like Yakubu, Maynard or Sharp not hard to figure that out.

We need to target fresh strikers now, or the weeks will keep on passing if we sign Evans and he starts for us I honestly believe we have no hope, he isn't good enough.

Derbyshire like I said is a good player, but been over to Greece been on loan to Birmingham was it and didn't score I don't think.

We need strikers of course we do, but we need good one's and not strikers of Ched Evans calibre.

Did Ched Evans & Matt Derbyshire go threes-up on your missus?

Leicester missed out on Mackail-Smith but will waste no time in moving their attentions to Nicky Maynard after signing Sean St Ledger #LCFC

Sheff Utd were relegated this season and Ched Evans scored 9, 1 less than Mackail-Smith did when he was in the Championship so what is your point?

Don't expect much of an answer to that!!

Yes you can have an answer to that.

Fact that he hasn't scored in a while, Evans isn't good enough last couple of season's has proved that.

Jamie Mackie scored 16 goals in 98 games at Plymouth.

He moved to QPR and was class.

Right, so CMS scoring 10 in this league season before last is ok because he was in a poor team. But it's not ok for Evans to score 9 in an equally poor team.

I'm confused.
