acooling08 Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 acooling, how on earth could you want Leicester to lose a match? We'll get Bradford at home. I want promotion in the Premier League from next season. Once established in the Prem (like under MON), we can focus on the Cups again, especially FA Cup! The Cups just serve as a distraction or games to get fatigued/injured players atm. he's a WUM. just ignore him. Wind up merchant? Just stating my opinion on a forum Oh & Fosse Boy, like I said, once we are in the PL, THEN we can focus on the great Wembly visits again.

I want promotion too, but I don't particularly want a first-round cup defeat to lower-league opposition. Because our previous defeats against lower level teams have had a lasting effect.
Wymsey Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Wouldn't mind Accrington again, my best away day by a mile for various reasons.
StanSP Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Oh & Fosse Boy, like I said, once we are in the PL, THEN we can focus on the great Wembly visits again. Why just when we are in the PL? Maybe a good cup run, be it League Cup or FA Cup, would give us some confidence whether we're doing well in the league or not. To want us to lose a game on purpose is just comical. Don't understand that at all.

Cos I'm sure Tranmere, Cardiff and Millwall hated doing well in the cups while in the Football League (not to mention nearly teams like Barnsley or ...Wycombe). Every competition is out there to be won, and it's extra income for the club if we get a payday. We were hardly established in the Premiership when we won it in 1997, we were still relegation candidates in March. If we were in the Premier League, you'd want us to focus on establishing finishing 15th, and the proud feeling associated with it. It wouldn't have ANY impact on our league campaign, so stop being such a grump about the cups.
Bert Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Anywhere I've not been so - Bradford City, Burton Albion,.Bury, Morecambe, Notts County, or Port Vale please.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 We got Man City in the cup last season, so that's our quota of good draws used up for a while. Them's the rules. It'll be a crap home draw before an ignominious defeat at Burnley in the second round.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 yep Burton away would be good, their player Webster is a relative of my mums apparently He's not that lad I always see at Leicester station in a Burton Albion tracksuit is it?
ajthefox Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Not too fussed in all honesty, wouldn't mind Wednesday away though what with having a house up there.
accessory Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Not even a new ground for us. Many fans will remember a dire 0-2 Johnstone's Paint defeat in 08-09. May give this a miss.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Should be at least semi-decent, I've never been before.

The Doctor Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 hu-****ing-za. Shit ground, no interest in travelling there. Just hope we get through and get a decent draw in round 2.

lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Could be good, definitely be making the trip at least.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Woohooo! We've got County! Quality draw that, may make an appearance in the County end if it doesn't clash with out game.
filbertway Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Are they still at the Don Valley next year? If so, then I'm all over this!
The Doctor Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Woohooo! We've got County! decent draw for your lot.
