There is simply no way Coventry will kick off at 3pm Saturday.

Could well be waiting until September for a Saturday 3pm awayer IMO.

West Ham v Cardiff will get moved, guaranteed.

Forest early up! Tough finish though!

Very tough finish! And Ipswich on Boxing day again!

Dont worry lads we will be promoted by March.

i know people say this every year but it really does like a tough division this year.... there doesn't seem to be an 'easy' 3-4 games unlike last year.....

Looking forward to going Helland Rd last day of the season to see us get presented with the championship trophy :trumpet:

except that won't be the case unless we don't confirm a title win until the last day. If we win the title prior to or during the west ham home game we'll be presented with the trophy in the west ham game.

Leicester's 2011/12 Championship campaign will start with a short trip to Coventry on 6th August.

Reading and Bristol City are the visitors to the Walkers Stadium for the next two clashes for Sven-Goran Eriksson's men followed by a trip to neighbours Nottingham Forest on 27th August.

With plenty of local opposition for the Foxes next season, Derby provide the next derby fare on 1st October followed by a trip to relegated Birmingham a fortnight later.

Ipswich are the visitors for the traditional Boxing Day fixture while New Year's Eve brings Portsmouth to the east Midlands.

Foxes fans will kick off the New Year with a trip down to London to take on Crystal Palace on 2nd January while Barnsley are the first visitors in 2012 on 14th January.

Sam Allardyce's West Ham provide the opposition for the final home game of the season while the finale sees a trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds.

what do you mean about plans? i buy the tickets and go to the away games. no plan needed

You don't need to book holidays/book trains/plan around things?

Lucky you

Palace away is on the New Year bank holiday, just to clarify, that's the 9th day of Christmas.

The last two games may be one of the most vital ones to predict who will seal the automatic spots and playoff places. You'll never know. :dunno::whistle:

Home to Hull and away to Blackpool around my birthday - not bad at all.

Posted

Burnley away, Bristol City away and Blackpool away on a Tuesday night - three bitches.

Bad for the fans, but many clubs these days prefer long away trips to be in midweek as they don't have to shell out for hotels and other related costs.

Happy we've got Coventry away first game.

I'm going to a wedding in Coventry and a few people there are Coventry fans, I have been joking that we'll have Coventry away first game of the season, it's only happened!

So gonna be getting hammered on the Friday, then stopping at the hotel overnight then onto a pub/game the next day! Sorted.

(Provided the game doesn't get moved to the Friday)

Looking at the first month and the last month though had made me realise how tough this season will be and puts some fear into me.

Couple of short trips for the first two aways, midweek fixtures home and away suit me okay with the derbies being on weekends provisionally.

Tough start but if we can get through it okay we should do well, can't afford a start like last season.

Well I wanted Brum, Bpool, West Ham, Leeds, Brighton, Southampton, Derby and Forest on saturdays. Got um all bar one! (B'pool). Guess im pleased with Cov away first game, living about 20 mins away in Hinckley should be a nice trip. Its usually crap and I wasn't going to go, but as it's first game I will, I would have gone whoever it was against.

Shit games on weeknights atm Boro & Ipswich, pleased with that.

Hoping not much gets messed about, think its a superb layout for us.

First 3 are very winnable. October is a hard month, but we really need to pick up points in December & Januray, play a lot of the more average sides then. Wouldn't fancy Leeds away on the final day needing the points.

Gurantee our last game v Leeds will be on sky, you would imagine one of us would be in the playoff scrap. Also West Ham v Cardiff, there's a nice opener for the met.

The fixture list is newsworthy. Therefore it cannot be copyrighted. Stop being bullied. Post it up.

The same principle applies to tv listings.

Anybody have any idea when SKY will announce their games? Impossible to get cheap train tickets when they'll probably go and change half of them!

Happy with some of them (such as West Ham away on a Saturday), bit dissapointed with others (such as Middlesbrough away on a Tuesday).

I wanted a team like Coventry first but not away. Never mind, hopefully its a good game, not sure about the atmosphere at 12.30pm like but I can't wait :scarf:

Ipswich Town away on my Birthday. A Monday evening game. Least it can't snow in April....can it?

Welcome to England. :thumbup:lol
