Ric Flair Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Thought he was shite in the PL and abroad. Might be alright here, ain't he injury prone? You sure you've got the right lad? Other than at Birmingham he's been quality. Blackburn were foolish to get rid of him. Not aware of his injury record, don't think it's that bad?
Tom17LCFC Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Just noticed he only got 10 goals in 63 apps for Blackburn, was sure he had more than that? Still reckon he'd be a decent signing...could see him doing well in this league.
LCFC BEAST Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 he has already scored at the walkers for the U21's against montenegro U21's
brfc24 Posted 17 June 2011 Author Posted 17 June 2011 It's ok. Like I said it's not set in stone yet.
Lambert09 Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Watched him a lot for the under 21's always rated him highly, not sure how he progressed but if wee get him at his best he is a top player. Really excited about this
lcfcsnow Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Not sure what to think, would rather us spend a bit more to get proven quality in - Nugent.

Most of his apps were off the bench mate, if you worked it out in terms of minutes on the pitch wouldnt be that bad......its like slating Waghorns return for his 4 minute displays aha
wayne76 Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Not sure what to think, would rather us spend a bit more to get proven quality in - Nugent. i trust svens judgment. I see what your saying but bringing in younger players that will have passion and that sven can work his magic on is alot better than 33-34 yr old prem pensioners. I think that leicester are conducting there business well and there is alot more going on behind the scenes! Well i hope!
ballso Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 personally think nugent and derbyshire will both be great signings. they are both still fairly young and obviously want to play at the highest level again, so they should be hungry which is exactly what we need in our players!
That lad from Japan Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Not being funny right but what does being Gallys father in law have to do with anything? I doubt sven goes shouting potential deals around in the dressing room before their completed somehow Arent gallagher and derbyshire good mates anyway. Their wives did the walk along the great wall of china and they were at Blackburn together so could be true

Rather have maynard and derbyshire any day. Ill be gutted if we dont get maynard. See Derbyshire as a player like dickov which will be good
Babylon Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 I know he was rated a few years back but I have no idea what his style is, or whether he's any good.
sphericalfox Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 I know he was rated a few years back but I have no idea what his style is, or whether he's any good. Err.......youtube
Babylon Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Err.......youtube Well I'm sold, he scores with every single touch on there.
Bugg Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 I know he was rated a few years back but I have no idea what his style is, or whether he's any good. Judging by a quick watch of some goals of his at Olympiakos, don't expect him to be firing in 30 yarders every game, he seems like one of those players who is always in the right place, right time to score.
Bugg Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 This is the game he made himself an instant hero in I think.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 This is the game he made himself an instant hero in I think. They know how to celebrate a goal there
sphericalfox Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Well I'm sold, he scores with every single touch on there. My memory of him is a player who would suit a 4-4-2, I remember him playing on the wing on the right too. Can shoot from distance and crosses very well. Has a bit of pace a trickery about him too. This is all from memory, but that's rusty so stand to be corrected.
Lambert09 Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 This is the game he made himself an instant hero in I think. There keeper scored the winning penalty....reminds me of someone maybe we should sign him
filou Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 If this is the standard of player we will be going for throughout the transfer window, there is going to be MAJOR dissatisfaction. We will not make the top 6 with players this. And as for favourites....Don't make me LARF !!!!! WHERE'S THE MONEY GONE!
Babylon Posted 17 June 2011 Posted 17 June 2011 Well at least the likes of him and Nugent are in the right age bracket.
