Dylan Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Peter Schmeichel, new goalkeeping coach alongside Stowell
Hack Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Not true, you still have to wear a shirt to keep warm on the bench. I doubt on our bench. In my opinion he will ask for a transfer. Making it to a team as a first team keeper after a long apprentiship he won't want to go back to being an understudy again, not in his late 20's. I reckon he will be added to the who is leaving thread.
Hack Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 He only had a year left on his contract and we offered them a million quid. Obviously they think they can spend that better elsewhere. As well as get one on a free like Rackchuba (or how ever you spell it)
Hack Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Kasper S. is such a coooool signing. Class above Weale and still a young man. Come on City we just need an effective forward and a creative midfielder aaaaaaand up the Premier League we go!! And a couple of centre halfs.
AmyLGK Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Kasper is FIT Swoooooon! I think I may be getting his name on my shirt.......!
goose2010 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 in other news i like our new goalie shirt! http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2382527,00.html
blueredswed Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I said already in January that Sven gonna catch Kasper to us. And here he is welcome Kasper
Dan Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Anyone got a link for that save he made with Cardiff against us? I can't remember it but I keep seeing it being mentioned, want to see this.
samjohnson Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 in other news i like our new goalie shirt! http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2382527,00.html Its not every day I say I like a goalkeepers kit, but I think i might actually go ahead and buy this one
Ashley Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Can't see the link posted above, but if its the lime green keepers kit then its lovely!
millzi Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Can't see the link posted above, but if its the lime green keepers kit then its lovely! Nope, it's all black with a gold trim. However the lime one use on the last game of the season was lush
Houdini Logic Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Nope, it's all black with a gold trim. However the lime one use on the last game of the season was lush I second that - thought it looked a little bit sexy
AjcW Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Someone make my day and photoshop the goalie kit on to wallace . Edit: Its the nose by the way.
accessory Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Not so sure about Schmeichel, Leeds did let a lot in last season although that could be blamed on the defence. Heard mixed things about him, but think he is as good as what we could realistically get. Slightly perturbed to hear that Kasper only had 10 Championship clean sheets last season. Even the "Worst Keeper In The History Of World Football" managed 9, and that was in a lot fewer games.
MikeyT Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Pleased this has gone through, he will be good backup for Weale and also able to learn his trade from him. Good prospect. lol lol lol lol lol
Ashley Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Good save here He made some quality saves through that game!!
blueredswed Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Kasper is perhaps not so long but he is a very very good keeper and number 2 I don´t think so He is number 1 come on blues.... I can´t wait until it starts! Perhaps I came up to S-holm but it is 45 swedish miles up + 45 back... But perhaps find new friends we will see...

Looks like Sven signed him because he knows there won't be any competition from him for the females then.
Simmo86 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Good save here being a bit picking, but he palmed it straight back into danger!
sdb Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Good save here I'm not so sure tbh. Easily within reach and he palms it straight back into the danger zone...a nasty habit of his.

Easily within reach and he palms it straight back into the danger zone...a nasty habit of his. You 2 have to be kidding me, no offence but he's got no right to be making that save at all let alone tip it over the bar. He's not only saving it from around 6 yards he's diving backwards just to be saving the ball. The rebound doesn't do any harm he saves the follow up and nothing comes to it. Stop being so pedantic and see how good a save it really was.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 That save, reminded me a little, of Gordon Banks. What more can I say?
