To be fair to parker I think Chisora/Haye (2018 cripple) would all struggle to beat a a top of his game Hughie Fury

parker is better than casual fans /people give him credit for, AJ knows it and that’s why there will No mistakes Saturday he is 100% prepared , but I think Parker is massively underrated

I think we get a fight on Saturday

I’ll be shocked If Parker lasts 6 rounds Saturday, and as for hughie fury, I don’t think much to him tbf, not an absolute patch on his cousin, only my opinion though,

Del Boy is turning into a bit of a joke, if he gets talked/paid into taking the fight with Joe Joyce he’ll be leaving the last chance saloon on his hands and knees.

Parker is massively underrated. I expect Joshua to win but it isn't going to be easy at all. Unlike most of Joshuas opponents Parker will actually come to win. Should be a good fight.

If you only count the serious fights, not the cv building gimmes nearly every boxer has, the majority of AJs opponents have actually come to fight. Whyte, breazelle, Wlad and Takam all turned up to have a go they were just found wanting, Martin and molina I agree wanted non of it.

Parker from what I’ve seen of him would not get past Dillian Whyte, if the two boxers I’ve been watching over the past two years get in the ring on Saturday night it won’t go 8 rounds but then high stakes big occasion maybe Parker can produce something but it’ll have to be a lot more than anything else he’s shown in the last two years.

It's a fight that was always going to happen at some point. It's a fight that's been bought up for both almost since they first signed professional. I think Joshuas attitude towards the fight shows that he doesn't take Parker lightly. More to Parkers detriment though.

Parker, for me, is looking better for this fight than he has for a while. It's obviously a different level of fight than he's had but that's going to bring the best out of him I hope. I like both fighters, followed both for a while and in Parkers last few fights he has looked abit slower than he initially looked and didn't look as though he was hitting as hard either. I know he had a problem with his elbows but maybe it's more optimism than anything from me because a couple of years ago this looked like it would one day be the one to watch.

I really really want the best AJ to turn up and the best Parker because if they both fight to their potential it won't go the distance but will be one hell of a fight.

It’s going to be another AJ comfortable win isn’t it? 4/5 rounds?

I agree with both your point

but I don’t think any heavy weight is a patch on his cousin before he went mental

I'd say 8th round KO myself.

It is all from what I have previously seen though, he has had surgery recently and his team seem to think it's going to improve his performance considerably.

There is a hype around Parker which I personally don't get, his KOs are all against no one's, any world level also ran worth their salt has taken him to points in some of the most boring fights I've seen this decade, close points in two cases as well, but we will see if there is more to him on Saturday.

When I first got into boxing, it took me ages to figure out why Klitschko was holding so many belts, but there was only talk of 4 world titles. Eventually I found out that the IBO is the one that no-one takes seriously, unless they have it, so it's something that they can hold. (Like when Eubank Jr was carrying it around in the build up to the Groves fight).

I'm gonna bet on 7-9 stoppage for Joshua.

Hey, make no mistake Pabs, I hope you’re right. Me and the mrs will be rather tipsy and watching it a big loud boozer in Ingoldmells, so it best not be over too quick!

You’d want better odds than that wouldn’t you?

I would price him in those 3 fights

2/5 4/7 1/3 = 2/1

so 4/1 is huge for me

I think it’s a fantastic bet and fantastic odds Given the state of play right now

but Fury could end up a favourite in that equation if he was to come back a monster , but I doubt he will

Higgins v Hearn on the gloves are off

brilliant TV

I watched the AJ v Parker one yesterday and thought Parker didn’t come across well at all though I don’t know really what I was expecting in terms of a war of words.

I agree Parker was not engaging but I think that was a ploy , Parker just doesn’t come across as a boxer , rugby player maybe but not boxer
