Canello GGG looks about off, spike o Sullivan and his amazing tash looking to step up.

in other news dyllian whyte kubrat pulev ordered as a final eliminator for Joshua’s Ibf belt.

The mandatory circus begins

I remind you they started stealing Tyson Fury’s belts off him the morning after he won them

spike is mental he will get killed

Stealing?

To be fair he refused to take on challengers so basically knew it was coming.

The called mandatories within 48 hours , not eliminators ! They stole his belts

That's interesting, is Spike still with Murphy's?

I think I've made my opinion on the IBF's decision to strip Tyson fury very clear.

I've no idea to be honest he could be, pretty sure he's been fighting on the other side of the Atlantic more these days, last time I saw him was on the BJS David Lemieux under card I think.

Because Cinnamon Buns has been caught out taking steroids.

Like every other cheat on the planet apparently it isn't his fault, he had some tainted meat.

Because, you know, professional athletes love eating at back alley dives that just happen to "taint" their beef with performance enhancing steroids.

Naturally its GGG's fault for being scared of him though.

David Price please retire

ryan Burnett did well but his hand was an issue

Joshua did what he had to do , actually now I have slept on it I was very impressed overall how he dictated with his jab and kept things moving , he was actually quite professional and the 12 rounds will stand him in good stead for the future , I would be very sure now an AJ/Fury fight would be terribly boring , and an AJ/Wilder fight would be terribly dangerous and exciting

all this Fury talk is a little boring me included , we forget the borefests that Fury dished up in the past even his boxing master class against Wlad was quite unexciting

fury will talk himself into a 50m pay day with Joshua , but Joshua will beat him

joshua is improving he has that Lenox Lewis feel to him , people need to look back at the Lewis v Tua fight and see the similarities , infact strangely Tua and Parker have the same coach Kevin Barry

im a convert this morning , I saw something new from AJ and if we keep seeing something new we will have a very very special fighter on our hands

he is 28 I think he has a projection to be out by 35 , so we need to enjoy him

Parker will come again he is the 3rd or 4th best heavy weight at moment and he is the youngest of those

Joshua has a new fan

People need to remember, some  of the best heavyweights in the world have been knocked out... Including Lennox Lewis, who i consider the best heavyweight  of my generation ( above Mike Tyson!)

So i dont know why they are expecting a 100-0 record for AJ

I agree with the sentiments entirely - AJ can now no longer be considered  a one-trick Pony, or a boxer who just relies on his brute strength.. Even if the fight can be considered 'boring' he certainly impressed me.

If he’d of beat wilder like that maybe, Parker really is being over hyped in terms of his quality as an opponent. You would not have seen that Antony Joshua beat Wlad like that and you won’t see him beat fury like that. It’s a little annoying for every person that now thinks Wilder is going to knock his head off there’s someone who thinks he is the next Lennox Lewis now (not nesc what you personally meant I know)

The main positive for me is his team seem very switched on and seem to know how to exploit different fighters and always have a game plan that extends beyond “get in there and chin him” which is what it was for 18 odd fights. Bodes well for a long career fighting top opposition.

Yeah he's definitely no great yet..... Beat Wilder and Fury and he could argue he's the best of his generation maybe.... But frankly that's not saying a lot as there has been a lot of quality heavyweights down the years...

Indeed, plenty of good boxers in the division these days,  there’s a lot more depth to the division than there was 5-10 years ago when Wlad literally just had to get out of bed to win on 9/10 occasions, but none really who can claim to be pound for pound on the level of a string of boxers such as Crawford, Garcia, lomechenko, golovkin and finally I’ll say Olexander Usyk who should he unify at cruiserweight in his upcoming fight is someone who could really ruffle some feathers if he moves up. Joshua is carrying the sport through pure marketability to the casuals.

I think Usyk has said he will move up eventually. I have never watched him but sounds like he’s a handful at cruiserweight.

Wilder has a load of power, but his style is awful. AJ will be able to defend against that and he'll be able to work his way inside - where Wilder's style is ineffective.

He was at times struggling to defend Parker until the ref kept stepping in , wilder is so unpredictable and such a huge puncher anything could happen

both fighters are technically suspect , it will be a cracker

Parker will win for me BUT it could go anyway

He’s very good, the size disadvantage against the bigger heavy weights would be his problem though.

I can not see him staying at cruiserweight unless he loses to or rematches Gassiev, or fights Bellew, Should he beat haye he’s talked about taking on Usyk and then retiring.

Degale is a shadow of the fighter he was , Groves would comfortably beat him now so would Smith

done , time to retire

He'll go for the pay day against the winner, you are correct badou jack has ended him and he will lose comfortably. Looked a bit more like his old self towards the end which is what got him over the line but on the whole a shadow of the fighter is bang on. Shit fight as well.

the main event however was great lol
